This short game is a triumph for anyone who enjoys glitching up mountainsides in Skyrim.
Play this, and play Lorn's Lure. Good stuff.
i got radioactive poisoning from escape unity project obby
A sort of “appetizer” for Lorn's Lure, the developer's next game. Contemplative, slow, sometimes demanding and frustrating, but always fair, this game is a must for all parkour fans.
played before Lorns Lure, found my self lost at times but was easy enough to find my way. great game for a cosy chill out. good climbing and enjoy old school graphics
Hatch caught my interest due to the look of the game since I quite liked the harsh look of it, and the idea of it sounded pretty fun. The main thing I like about it is that due to how the gameplay works in a lot of parts it feels like you're going through an unintentional shortcut, the gameplay is basically how it feels to glitch up sloped terrain in other games which is quite fun. It is short but considering the price I feel like that's obvious. I also liked the message that I got left with at the end of it, it did make me feel nice. For the negatives... the main one is the lack of any settings, I have a 4k monitor and the text and gui in general was extremely small, thankfully the game has next to no text or gui, so it's not a big issue. Overall I can recommend, what you see is what you'll get basically.
Excellent experience. I came here from playing (and loving) Lorn's Lure first. You can see the similarities in some ways, it's interesting to see the progression. In Hatch the constant climb up and up and puzzling out the environment feels really good. Atmospheric and interesting environment. Simple premise, wonderfully executed. Big recommend!
Bright Knuckle
good atmosphere and music, where lorn's lure started..
A short climbing game, about an hour long. For anyone familiar with jumping up mountains in Skyrim, it's like that. The game doesn't offer much of a challenge or the frustration that you find in most climbing games. It's a relaxing experience, with simple controls and lots of atmosphere.
