just as good as the first, if not better! less target individuals to manage but a much more engaging story, in my opinion, without being totally divorced from the story of the first game either. great gameplay, GREAT voice acting, and seems to be super replayable!! in fact i think i'll go replay the original!
big downgrade from the first one, the story is shallow and gameplay feels clunky.
Coming from someone who loved the first game, this is sadly a disappointment. As you can see, I finished one scenario in 2 hours (I took my time to read the info. Without that it'd be even shorter..), completely uninterested in the story by the end of it and the information was too much to read through, not due to the sheer volume of it but because it seemed irrelevant and repetitive. Very sad because I was super excited to experience a story up to par with the first one.
会卡关,没有前作好玩
The story has decent introduction and plot twists. Gameplay is a bit buggy; jumping between tabs mixed with narrator popups and joining calls in-progress ( honestly I archived calls to keep progressing with the same resource ). The game gives you option to disable "datachunks", but you endup re-enabling them all just to keep progressing through a chapter. Options to deviate the storyline are very limited. I can see there was a potential to make a better game.
Futurisitic Investigative game revolving around the concepts of mass surveillance. Your choices matter and impact the ending. The storyline is quite interesting, and the way you gather information to form your deductions is very unique. Has callbacks to the first game. I'd love to see more games of this playstyle.
A great complement to the first game.
j'ai adoré ce jeux, j'espére vraiment qu'un autre va sortir.
Great sequel. 10/10 would recommend
Story is filled with holes. Voice acting is AWFUL. Especially the woman boss of our investigator. When she is talking to the military guy, she sounds like she has no idea she's risking people's lives for what amounts to a hunch. And that woman terminating the target out of nowhere was ridiculous. Would they really terminate the target without even talking to him to find out what he knows? The whole thing was amateur hour by the writers and voice actors. But the game is still pretty fun. The gameplay is the exact same as the first one. They didn't try to change it up or improve it like so many sequels do. Unfortunately, the political storyline was so obviously a criticism of US policy in Afghanistan and Iraq. They even made a not so veiled reference to Abu Ghraib. Apparently, 9/11 is far enough away to where we should sympathize with terrorists, right? When will these developers realize that audiences don't enjoy being preached at? Maybe it's just a lack of creativity. They just weren't able to come up with their own storyline for this game. Too bad.
