About
Standable Full Body Estimation is a method of estimating points of your body that are not currently tracked by 3-point tracking solutions or other FBT tracking devices. Using the continuous positional data from any VR headset / HMD, Standable FBE can emulate the general movement of an 11-point tracking solution.
Quick Calibration: Spend less time setting up and more time immersed in VR.
Advanced Tracking: Estimates 8 additional points to mimic a full 11-point tracking system.
Natural Leg Movement: Seamlessly integrates with 3-point tracking (or more with mixed tracking!) for fluid body motion.
Versatile Poses: Lay down in any direction (stomach, back, sides) and transition smoothly between standing and laying positions.
Enhanced Elbow Estimation: Improved elbow angles for natural arm movements.
SteamVR Compatibility: Works with any SteamVR app supporting full body tracking.
Personalize your Standable experience with a fresh and intuitive UI.
Pose Adjustment Sliders: Fine-tune your sit/lay poses.
Hip Movement Control: Adjustable hip sway and counterbalance.
Dynamic Tracker Management: Enable/disable trackers on the fly.
Seat Estimation: Automatically blend into a seated pose on various surfaces.
Advanced Chest Estimation: Dynamic chest movement based on hand proximity.
Combine Standable with real FBT devices for the best of both worlds.
Fill in the Gaps: Use Standable to fill in tracking gaps where hardware trackers are absent.
Fallback Triggers: Smoothly transition between FBT and Standable when trackers get occluded or run out of battery.
Tracker Data Smoothing: Basic interpolation for smooth tracking (more advanced methods coming soon).
Alignment Options: Align Standable skeleton to your avatar for consistent calibration.
Pencil Pose: Quick calibration for mixed tracking setups.
Smart Offsets: Ensure consistent mixed tracking calibration.

Honestly wasnt too bad, and it worked especially well in VRChat, though that's about the only thing I was able to use it for Highly recommend for people who REALLY enjoy VRChat but lack money for FBT. Other than that though, i wasn't able to find much practical use outside of social games and I refunded it. Works well, though! :)
it doesnt work on linux. standable is the one reason i'm still stuck to windows

Honestly Standable is kinda one of those “you don’t realize you needed it until you use it” kinda things. Would 100% recommend this if someone doesn't have the money for fullbody trackers, and even if they did i still would cuz it helps smooth things out with em(from what iv seen anyway since i dont have fullbody tracking myself yet) I didn't use Standable for the longest time since I really only played vrchat and I thought their base was fine, but as soon as i tried Standable i cant go without it lol. I love this app very muchly! Its also really easy to set up
If you're spending hours at a time in VRC (or any other FBT supported SteamVR game/app) and you want a SIGNIFICANT immersion boost in them without spending up to multiple hundreds of dollars on trackers, Standable is the way to go. Essentially, it is simulated FBT. Whenever you sit in a chair IRL, you sit in game. When you lay on the floor, you lay in game. When you're in bed, you turn on bed mode and you're laying down in game. Even when you're standing and walking around, it looks like how you're walking IRL without the weird jittery leg movements the default IK in VRC does. IMO, The default IK for VRC is just downright trash. This is a monumental upgrade from that. Are you tired of: Good avatars that don't support GogoLoco but you want the ability to sit or lay down without being sunk in the floor with broken legs? Avatars that DO support GogoLoco but tediously going through a menu every time to get the right pose whenever you sit or lay down? You have lower body trackers already but the rest of your body looks like a crumpled Stephen Hawking/Ricky Berwick nightmare? The ability to make custom poses to match your sitting position IRL? Calibration that doesn't take 30 minutes (or longer!) to dink around with to get it right and wasting you and your friends time? It just works. I got 3 Vive Ultimate Trackers recently as well and Standable plays REALLY good with mixed tracking and fills in the gaps almost seamlessly. Only issue I have though is my legs are really short IRL and whenever I sit on the floor, I look like I'm spread out for the entire world to see when I'm just sitting normally on the floor. Not sure if that's a Standable issue or a Vive Ultimate Tracker issue though. Support on their discord is really nice as well if you're having issues. It's NOT one of those, "it works for us but since it doesn't work for you, SKILL ISSUE." type discord supports. They are actual human beings that will help you find a solution. Standable's main issue (in my eyes): I think $20 is the absolute maximum price it could be, but I still think it's a bint overpriced, especially when most VRC software is either free or a couple dollars. For what it does, I think it's fine, but for people who just want to experiment with it, the price is a huge turn off. If it was $8 or less, I would be recommending it to every one of my PC friends without question, but $20? You could get an entire VR game with that money, so I don't recommend it to them. Now I'm not entirely sure what the solution would be for this. I am purely talking out of my ass as someone who doesn't know business whatsoever for this part, but. Maybe they could make a "demo" version that doesn't come with any custom tweaking to make the poses what you want (like the sliders for seat, sit, and lay). Then, they pay $20 to get the full customization if they see that it works well. Honestly, I initially refunded this when I first got it. I couldn't get it to work and didn't want to go past the 2 hour limit to be able to refund it. I'm glad I got it again once v3 came out though. I'm fairly sure that either a demo, or lowering the price in general would eliminate a lot of the people (like me) who were scared it wasn't gonna work, and refunded it before before they spent 2 hours on it. I'm also would also make this way more used for the more "casual" VRC players who don't have much time to hop on after work or etc. I do get why the price is high though. Lower price = More users = MUCH more support needed. And, to give it more credit, I feel like Standable v3 is "good enough" to the point where it's fairly self explanatory how to get it all to work. Watching one guide on how to set it up is usually enough. But still.
If you don't have the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Vive Ultimate Trackers or If you don't have trackers skip this save the money for slimes they will be a vastly superior experience to whatever this estimates. I belive it's too expensive for what it does, this was absolutely a 'I was drunk purchase' for me so I will get some milage out of it even it it doesn't exactly improve anything in my life...
Works very well, especially when used alongside SlimeVR trackers. It makes avatars extremely expressive while smoothing out input from IMU based trackers which may otherwise have some latency or be jittery. It's important to clarify that Standable is essentially exclusively a VRChat or VTubing tool.
the positive reviews are a psyop this stuff doesn't work and no one I've met on vr chat uses it unironically or had good experiences with it. Just put poses on your avatar that is more accurate somehow than this thing that just makes my avatar look disabled.
I have been using Standable for a few days and it's GREAT! Here's the reasons why I like using Standable and the problems it fixes: 1. Many VR Games with Models that have legs (My Case, VRChat) Waist-Foot Tracking Sucks and Tries to fill it in with Walking. Standable fixes it with estimation. 2. It looks unnatural I personally feel like people won't take me seriously otherwise. Standable Enhances how you move ingame based on how your upper body moves. 3. Standable Makes you immersed. I like how my body ingame can feel really real. I bought Standable when it was on-sale because I'm slightly broke, but at full price, it's actually worth the price considering there are $200+ Trackers out there. I'm surprised that it wasn't a few dollars more expensive, but I'm definitely not complaining at all. Overall Rating: 8.5/10.
for me personally, this is essentially a replacement for VRChats default body motion, and makes all of my avatars' movements look far more natural works out of the box with my old Rift S through its automatic setup, and it does a very good job it basically emulates the trackers you would have from an FBT setup (feet, knees, pelvis, elbows) and runs it through its own superior, customizable motion algorithm, providing an overall better look for your character in FBT supported games if you despise how badly VRChat handles motion for untracked joints, this will solve that, and more
