Ordinary Heroes surprised me in a good way. The hand-drawn art looks great, and the mix of action and strategy feels smooth and satisfying. Easy to pick up and definitely worth the price.

Bought this game the day it released! Ordinary Heroes is a really exhilarating game that keeps making you want to come back for more. It’s easy to pick up, but definitely hard to master, which makes each run feel rewarding. I died pretty early on my first few attempts and had to change up my tactics to survive longer. The game pushes you to adapt instead of just doing the same thing every time. Troop deployment is super important — placing units well can be the difference between winning and losing. If you like games that challenge you and reward smart decisions, this one’s worth playing.

A fun indie game, with handmade art... something special amid all this AI slop currently overflooding Steam. It's a simple game in its core, but after a few waves it can suddenly get tense and challenging. The first playthrough is quite long for this price and with the army builder you can keep on going. Games nowadays can be overly complex and bloated. Sometimes a man just needs something simple, but with enough challenge.
