I actually really enjoyed this game and found the mechanics relaxing. I think with just a few enhancements this could be a really great game.
fun et original
Top aufbau simulator im space, UI ist gewönungsbedürftig, aber nach 1-2 Stunden ist alles geläufig. Probleme aus älteren Rezensionen sind gefixt

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

keeps crashing due to missing files. something about d2d or d4d and other files it tries to load and can't find it, majority of the files unreal engine needs is missing, thereby forcing app to terminate and generate error report to be sent and close app, though app never even closes, tried closing app via steam, but app seems to be stuck an unresponsive, therecy forcing me to open task manager to force close the app from there. until this is fixed, it's currently unplayable.
Missions irréalisables pour moi, quelque soit le niveau de difficulté choisi :'(
7 hours into the game and i love it, you have to pasue a lot when building or the game will run ahead without you, for the price its well worth ago.
So, after 3 play throughs (2 losses and a win*), i can confirm that the game is entirely playable. I experienced zero game bugs. With that said, the game could be... more. The game is mostly grinding through contracts, and constantly turning on/off buildings to conserve upkeep costs. There is a certain level of zen to this, but by the time you are researching your last buildings, you are mostly looking forward to being able to call the game done. Incidentally, the game doesn't have any proper end; if you don't accept missions that kill you, or fall hopelessly in debt, you can just keep playing forever; however, a time does come where there is no new missions, research, or new types of contracts, at which point, you're functionally done. The game also has a less than intuitive interface, so scrolling, and rotating your station to see what you are doing is cumbersome at times. I got this game heavily discounted at ~$5. For that price, i'm happy enough with what i got.
Developed by LAB132 and published by Klabater, orbit.industries is a management simulation that places players in command of building and operating an advanced space station orbiting distant planets. Instead of emphasizing exploration or combat, the game focuses on engineering, logistics, and long-term planning, offering a rewarding experience for players who enjoy designing complex systems. Every expansion to the station requires careful consideration, transforming what begins as a modest orbital facility into a sprawling industrial hub capable of supporting advanced research, manufacturing, and commercial activity. The concept succeeds in presenting a believable vision of humanity's future in space while giving players substantial freedom to shape their own orbital empire. The station-building mechanics are the foundation of the experience, encouraging players to think strategically about both form and function. Dozens of specialized modules can be connected to create customized layouts that support efficient production chains and resource distribution. Every new addition has practical consequences, making station design more than a cosmetic exercise. Players must balance power generation, manufacturing capacity, storage, transportation, and expansion without allowing inefficiencies to disrupt the entire operation. The game rewards thoughtful planning instead of rapid construction, making each completed section feel like a meaningful accomplishment rather than another building placed on a grid. One of orbit.industries' most distinctive ideas is its ability to alternate between an immersive three-dimensional presentation and a streamlined management interface. Watching the station grow in full 3D is visually satisfying, with detailed structures floating against colorful planetary backdrops and expansive star fields that create a convincing sense of scale. When efficiency becomes the priority, the abstract planning mode provides a cleaner overview of production networks and logistics, making it easier to optimize workflows and eliminate bottlenecks. This combination allows the game to appeal both to players who appreciate visual spectacle and those who prefer precision management without unnecessary distractions. The progression system offers enough variety to accommodate different playstyles. The campaign introduces mechanics gradually through structured objectives, making the game's many interconnected systems easier to understand over time. Endless Mode caters to players who enjoy continuously refining production and maximizing efficiency, while Creative Mode removes many restrictions so builders can focus entirely on ambitious station designs without financial or operational limitations. The extensive technology tree steadily unlocks more sophisticated facilities, encouraging experimentation with increasingly advanced production chains and giving every successful expansion a tangible sense of progress. Presentation is another area where the game performs well. The visual design captures the beauty and isolation of space through carefully crafted environments inspired by real astronomical phenomena. Massive planets, glowing nebulae, and distant stars provide an impressive backdrop that keeps the station feeling alive rather than isolated in empty space. The soundtrack complements this atmosphere with calm, ambient compositions that suit the slower pace of construction and management. Instead of relying on dramatic action, the audiovisual design creates a relaxing environment where players can spend hours optimizing layouts and watching their station evolve piece by piece. Despite its strengths, orbit.industries is not a game that immediately reveals all of its depth. The numerous production systems, interconnected mechanics, and logistical considerations create a noticeable learning curve that may overwhelm newcomers to the management genre. Success depends on patience and careful analysis rather than quick decision-making, and players who neglect long-term planning can find themselves dealing with increasingly complicated operational issues. However, those willing to invest the time to understand its systems will discover a satisfying simulation that rewards efficiency, organization, and creative engineering. Overall, orbit.industries delivers an engaging blend of station construction, industrial management, and strategic optimization that stands out within the space simulation genre. Its flexible building system, multiple game modes, detailed progression, and striking presentation combine to create an experience that remains compelling long after the basics have been mastered. While its complexity may discourage players seeking a casual experience, fans of thoughtful management games and intricate construction simulators will find a rich and rewarding challenge that consistently encourages experimentation and improvement.
