oOo: Ascension

[h1] Занятная и хорошо оптимизированная аркада по наибыстрейшему проходу от одной точки к другой на сфере [/h1] Может конечно, игра только поначалу радует, но пропотеть даже на первых уровнях придётся. Игра хорошо работает даже на слабом железе и стоит по скидке довольно мало. Игровые пульты поддерживаются, хоть стиком на них прицельно летать трудновато. На мышке было попроще. Странно, что у такой занятной игры до сих пор так мало отзывов с 2018-го года. Облачное сохранение есть, как и достижения. Но не хватает карточек и хоть номинального сюжета.

ARGH. Cool game but it will make you want to rip your face off... or bash your controller. Add the cost of a new controller or a face surgery (or both) to the cost of the game before buying! It's a very cool and well made little game but damn is it tough as nails.

okay'ish game, with way too twitchy and sensitive controls (on an XBox360 controller). Options are non existent, the 5 seconds soundloop is extremelely annoying but there is no way to turn just the "music" (used here very loosely) off and keep the sound effects. The puzzle's main difficulty seems to rely on the obnoxious controls, so it might have more to offer but after playing through the first set of maps I found that I couldn't be bothered to keep playing ... frustration isn't a subsitute for actual gameplay ... at least in my book. I guess that if you like repeating the same motions n'th time in a row it can be something for you. a last note: I rated this thumbs down because it's a binary choice. The game isn't THAT bad ... it's just not good neither in my opinion.

It's hard to describe oOo as it isn't quite like anything else I've played. The closest I can get is that it is a strange and very additive cross between Super Meat Boy, Mario Galaxy, and Wipeout, with a beautiful neon aesthetic reminiscent of Tron! In short, you need to pilot your little ship around small planetoids while avoiding the many, many things which want to kill you. Most levels take less than 20 seconds to complete, but to get that one good run can take dozens of tries. Importantly though, deaths never feel cheap, they always feel like they were your fault, so the sense of satisfaction of nailing a perfect run is amazing! I’ve just completed World 5, and I’m still being surprised and delighted at both the new and interesting wrinkles on the core idea, as well as the amount of level which can be crammed into a seemingly simple sphere! If you like that feeling of nailing the perfect run in Super Meat Boy or Trackmania, I cannot recommend this game enough!

oOo: Ascension is a very cool idea, similar to table top marbe games but pumped to the max with new ideas and relaxing music. its easy to spend time and zoning out while playing this game.

This is a really fun game. I love the level designs and the controls are so smooth. It ran perfect for me on Steam Deck so it was the perfect game to play portably.
