Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I don't think this game is bad, and I would probably give it like a 6/10, but this is Steam where reviews must be binary, and this game has more negatives than positives. + Unique premise + Good art style, nice sprite work + Good soundtrack - Incomprehensible. Everything happens lightning quick and there are too many things to pay attention to. - Insane and unforgivable asymmetry between what enemies can do and what you can do. Enemies can waltz over to your side of the grid and cast enormous, powerful AoE spells, they can lock you to a single square in multiple ways, they have no cooldowns and limited telegraphing. If the player got a little bit of this sauce, I wouldn't mind, but you're weak af. - Stupid RNG, ZERO cheese. Too many niche spells, too many half baked synergies, and most of them are useless because even if something seems good, you have to be able to *hit* the enemy with it, which is nigh impossible because... - no preview indicator for attacks! WHY? Seriously, being able to hold down a spell and view its trajectory before releasing it would be a wonderful QoL feature, and it would really aid in learning how every spell works. - Bonkers burden of knowledge and BS system bloat. Hard to learn, hard to master, unrewarding and unsatisfying.

What if Rockman EXE became a bullet hell and roguelike? That's this crazy game. I still think my first "win" was a fluke after 15 hours or so, as I have not been able to recreate it since. Special shout out to the music and aesthetics of this game. They are stunning, and are definitely part of why this game is really gripping me!
I'm no achievement hunter but this stand as one of the very few games I got every single achievement for. This game is still my go-to when I just wanna have a good time. It's MM Battle network slay the spire, you probably figured out as much, however it is a much better experience than the sum of its parts. For deck builder fans (and haters?): There's so much to love about the way Eden lets you shift the odds, e.g. the focus system makes it easier to tell the game what kinda build you would like to go for and the luck system is the most literal implementation of a risk/reward mechanic. The fact that you can dodge every single attack means your deck isn't as vital and makes it way more doable to recover from unlucky early drops and stabilize in the latter half. It's not a free ticket as eventually your bad choices will come back to bite you if you are clueless but you can totally go for weird builds and not die the first half as you assemble its pieces. If the action feels too hard, just keep at it, it's super rewarding and not as hard as it might seem. You get a pretty big roster as every mid-boss is an unlockable character with some having pretty busted builds (Manafire Frost is insanely OP) but generally the starting build (Saffron) is the all around queen. For battle network fans: Let's be honest there's like 6 games made in the last two decades out for you, this one is so well done they turned it into a fighting game later on.
I like it on paper, but getting into this game is a struggle. Considering you have a mere second to respond, yet new cards have so much information on it.
So much nostalgia for Mega Man Battle Network.
It's as good as I remember battle network being, but without the initial drag of playing a decade old RPG intro
I definitely underestimated how much I would have played this game. Perfect for playing on a laptop from 2020s with a gamepad. Might even run on older laptops too. So if you dig roguelites and action then it's a game for you!

I couldn't get into this game. Despite loving the Battle Network games, I think this game completely misses the mark and fails to understand what makes the BN formula work. Firstly, this game just throws you into it, with no clue as to what anything does or how the mechanics work. It suffers from excessive pacing. Everything is dumped on you all at once. I have no idea what these attacks do, and what these enemies behaviors are, and yet I'm already dying and being kicked back to the title screen. Every design choice made in BN was purposefully chosen to fit the game's combat system. How it introduces mechanics and new chips to the player at a nice steady but manageable pace is what makes it so fun and accessible. This game throws all that away and just gives you 1 life to make it through a long series of battles with chips you have no idea how to use and may not see again for quite a while. The combat here might be decently designed, but the overall game isn't. You can't just throw players into intensely challenging combat with no opportunity to learn the basics first. And this is coming from someone who has beat every BN game multiple times over and some romhacks. This game isn't fun to learn! I would highly recommend adding some sort of practice or tutorial mode. But even more importantly may be a main campaign mode that could introduce concepts to the player at a slower rate and allow them to become familiar with it's attacks, enemies and mechanics. I don't see most players being able to get deeply into this game. Leaving it a niche title for hardcore BN fans only, and that's a shame. Also something about the visual style made it harder for me to recognize what was going on and how to dodge enemy attacks. I found it much more difficult to decipher the action when compared to BN. Maybe it's the dull colors, or low contrast, or higher resolution. I'm not sure exactly but it was a problem for me.
I wanted to like One Step From Eden. It earns some creative points by adding a physical strategy element. However, the visual design is lackluster, the 2.5D isometric layout is somewhat difficult to comprehend, and it doesn't really expound much on the deckbuilding roguelike genre as a whole. For the most part, It feels like it's doing things that have already done, but worse.
