This game i didn't yet play much. Still, i nominated Once a Porn a Time: Porn and Cards as much as i could for the 2025 Steam Nominations. In the first place, i did play the other 2 games in this series and i adore them. The series is the best Virtual Novel i have, by very very far. Game-play, lack of bugs, story-wise, and for the artwork & style. The series is truely inovative to the VN genre, and from what i've seen/played, OaPaT: Porn and Cards is unique in the cards game genre. Besides, this is the only 2025 game i actually played a bit so how could i not nominate it (& not write a "review" for my Nominations badge)?
Very good core gameplay. I am really like CCG mechanics. Ukrainian translation needed.
P&C has the wit I have come to expect from OPT/Feyada, and the quality of the artwork has, blessedly, improved even further. The card battles are a huge step up from the droid "mini game" and general grind of the previous OPT games, and I look forward to seeing how it develops. The only thing I'm missing is the option to view/unlock the scenes you miss in one playthrough. Previous OPT games were set up in such a way that you would unlock all scenes, regardless of your choices, in the same playthrough. I understand this may not always be possible, but, similarly, the developer should understand that not everyone wants to waste their time skipping through the entire game, just to see what was excluded previously. Tedium is not a feature, people
I had a lot of fun playing the first 2 games, and I really looked forward to this one just to fill in the plot... and plot. I just have one small, ALL IMPORTANT, complaint. It won't launch. I could play in beta (briefly checked it out), but when I launch it now, I get music and a big whited out box. So, as much as I want to love this game, just like the first 2, I can't recommend it if it can't run on average PC hardware.
Dialogues trop sympas pour le jeu lui même j'attends d'être convaincu

Loved the previous 2 OPT games despite them being a little clunky (mostly as a result of trying to shoehorn game mechanics into what should have just been a more straightforward visual novel), unfortunately I can't recommend this one because clunky and terrible game mechanics have been made the main focus. It's incredibly buggy mess where basic features regularly stop working for no apparent reason only to resume working again later seemingly at random. The "card" game in addition to being really terrible and unfun to play is also incredibly confusing, not explained basically at all, and the card battles are beyond unreasonably difficult. I've barely made it through about 6 or so (boring, tedious, and unfun) card battles before I got to one that is impossibly hard and I have zero resources or recourse to improve my deck to take it on because there isn't anybody else that will battle me right now. I'm completely soft-locked and can't progress. Maybe the porn scenes are good, but I'll never get to see them and I'm really pissed off about that. The game is effectively unplayable. I'm also angry at myself for giving the dev the benefit of the doubt instead of refunding it when I still had the chance. OPT needs to stick to their strenghts and stop trying to make games that exceed their capability. Based on this frankly unacceptable product, when OPT releases I'm going to be waiting for a lot of reviews to come in before I even consider buying it. Severely disappointed.
I played the first game just after early release, and from that point on I became a big fan of the OPT Studio games. I just started this one, so I can’t say too much yet, but it already looks like a lot of well-spent hours. The design and the ideas are new and quite nice. After I’m done with it, I can’t wait for the third part of Once Upon a Time. I really have my hopes up. Keep up the good work! :D
its a fun card game a little confusing at times but overall enjoyable i enjoyed it enough to get all 12 of the achievements
First the art, magnificent, love the animations! Just because of this is worth. Love the game, gameplay is more interactive and not that difficult, I don't think I lost more than 2 rounds against a single foe, just changed the build and GG.
