All about expectations, small dev and all that, but overall I liked it. Had a bit of humor, animation did the trick, and the card battles were interesting puzzles. Probably should play Once Upon A Porn 1 + 2 to understand the story a bit.
I can see reviews where people are saying the card games are an interesting puzzle and you need to change up your deck to defeat them. I'd love to see an explanation on how that works in the start of the game, because I'm stuck on the first two characters 3rd round fights. Maybe I should have picked weapons upgrades over armour upgrades, but I can't experiment because money's only obtainable through winning fights, getting new items, costs money, removing existing items, costs money. Getting new cards, you have to win fights. There's no tutorial to explain anything, even though there's a tutorial option in the game menu. Adding a cheat mode to skip or always win fights is not the right way to make a fun game that people want to play. You might just as well have made it a visual novel.
Im not good at the card game, so I wont judge the game on that. The story is fun, the scenes are well done and the premise is unique. Definitely worth a look, especially if it's on sale.
it has card game system, ofc I'm gonna love it. Plus, tits

I really liked the first two OPT games for their visual quality, charming music, light-hearted, sex-positive writing, their length and the gradual progression in the relationships. Porn and Cards felt like Cards with occasional interactions that may or may not be sexual. Relationships at most had two stages - sex, or no sex into sex transition - and felt like fillers between two card games. To be honest the card game isn't that bad, it's just overly simplistic, which results in situations where there's basically only one correct solution with the cards you have at hand. The possibilities only open up in the end game, where the card duel's are either very frustrating or easy as spring breeze. I hope the inclusion of the card game will be way less prominent in the next OPT game. Honorary mention though: the writing is very protective with the recurring characters, to avoid stepping on the toe of the players. I found that really endearing for some reason. All in all it's not a bad game, it just feels more like an experiment in game mechanics than a full-fledged OPT game.
This game is soo dam boring, and the turn-based fights are one-sided unless your chess or checkers wizard
