The game reminds me of Nancy Drew, but in my opinion, it is more enjoyable and has a cuter style. It takes place in a small Italian town, which gives it a charming atmosphere. Personally, I found it a little slow since I prefer action-packed games. However, if you like relaxing, cozy games, I think you would really enjoy it. I definitely recommend it.
The ending is so bad it kinda ruined the game for me NGL. I was loving it up until the last hour or so. Also very buggy, pop-up cards would just be white and the gelato shop never loaded comments. Especially at the end. I wasn't able to do any of the "post game" content because I kept getting locked into a cooking mini game that wouldn't take inputs from any control scheme and would just infinitely fail and reset me.

This has be a truly amazing game to play. A mix of playing a buddy detective / writer, building amazing relationships, and a absolutely awesome storyline. I genuinely felt like I was part of the story, and as it progressed, I started to get attached to all of the characters, with their own unique traits and storylines. Honestly, I nearly cried at the end! Its a beautiful game, and I feel privileged to play it. I really, really hope there'll be a On Your Tail 2, in the future. 5/5 ⭐
I liked the game a lot on the vibe, the music, the art, the characters, the overall idea, but same as many, some things are really hard to manage. The speed is horrible. I mean I had to cheat in order to multiply the speed by 2 as it was too slow. While I understand the purpose of slowing a bit the pace to have a true holidays vibe, it was really too slow. The mysteries were worse with the time. At the beginning fun and coherent. At the very end not very meaningful. I had crash after every acts. Like the game basically freezed, and the only way to move on was to close then restart the game. The friendships and romances also lack substance and depth. There's a lack of specific interactions, and everything seems rushed at the very end, just before the departure. The evolution of the relationships isn't particularly felt. I still give a positive rate. The overall game deserves a 85%. The end is a 50%, alas. Bittersweet in every sense. /!\ SPOILERS /!\ /!\ SPOILERS /!\ /!\ SPOILERS /!\ Also I have struggle with the end. I find the time bubble idea interesting... but the outcome was... weird. It feels like a rushed edit, a deus ex machina, to justify Diana never returning. Like the bubble is destroyed, but not really; Beatrice crosses over, but we have no idea what happens to her, or why she could go through the bubble without consequences as Orlando mentioned. I read elsewhere that the developers' decision to permanently sealing off access was to create a "vacation paradise we'll never see again" effect, but I find that flimsy. Not only are there numerous paradoxes in terms of time (e.g., Chea's real parents have probably been dead for years now, not having any news from her also, but no one cares lol), but more importantly, it's entirely possible for someone to return to their vacation spot. I would have found it more striking to see Diana return, only to find that all of Borgo Marina had aged to catch up. It's as if we're comparing a mental image frozen in time with a return to reality. Unclear and frustrating. /!\ SPOILERS END /!\ /!\ SPOILERS END /!\ /!\ SPOILERS END /!\ I hope to see you on future games like this, with a more polished and less frustrating end.
It has been a long time since I felt genuinely sad for a game to end. While there is detective work, the main focus is on discovering yourself and growing as a person with the help of the friends you make along the way. This game should be far more popular and I hope we get DLC or a sequel. If I could, I'd wipe my memory so I could experience it for the first time again.
This is one of my favorite games personally. I love everything about it. I haven't found anything I dislike yet. I've found some bugs here and there and some stuff that makes it stand out as an indie game, but nothing game-breaking or that makes me feel discouraged. The game is very impressive really. I just kept exploring the town last night and expecting to be told I couldn't go any further, but that just kept not happening and I kept being able to explore more and more and more. The level of detail that went into this town is amazing. I can see why it was compared to Shenmue (I think that was what it was called... It was a SEGA dreamcast game kind of like Yakuza) now... But I personally consider it to be more similar to Persona without combat... It's like add Professor Layton to Persona and subtract a high school and French inspired cartoon art of a british detective and you've got On Your Tail lol... I'll write a better review later, but so far I LOVE this game and sincerely hope it gets more content and I hope we see Diana in a series yet to unfold. It would be awesome to even play a prequel series as her grandmother and explore the world or something... Idk... I love this game so much. I constantly can't help but imagine them walking around humans on leashes though lmao... or like I expected to see little humans swimming around in the aquarium... and then I wonder where they get the milk to make cheese, but before my mind goes too deep into hentai ♥♥♥♥ I have a fail safety switch that reverts to laughter and back to focusing on the game lmao
Sehr nettes Cozy game
An all-around excellent game! A fun story with so many charming characters and art. The mini-games were engaging and surprisingly difficult at times. The main puzzles can be a pain in the ass but I never stayed angry. An Italian Furry vacation that you hate to leave.
A charming little adventure game that takes you to a small, sleepy coastal town in Liguria. I especially loved the Italian flair. The mystery storyline was okay. If you’re not expecting a graphical masterpiece and enjoy adventure games, I can definitely recommend it. PS: The cooking minigame is the absolute worst thing ever. It's the only thing I can really say anything negative about.
