Very good game but still needs to be worked on
It's been a while since I've played this, but writing a review because I saw an update pop up. Definitely recommend it if you have any serious interest in the first world war or this type of military management. I originally bought it after reading storm of steel and enjoyed it thoroughly. It's very in depth and can take some time to learn. The developer seems responsive to questions and IIRC the tutorial was comprehensive enough that I didn't need much else. This is probably one of the best strategy games in this time period currently on the market. It also gives a rather unique perspective of Commanding a very specifically sized body of troops along a length of trench.
It's a cool and interesting game but I cannot suggest it to anyone. The performance is baaaaad man, when an assault happens to go try and take over a trench it turns into a lag fest and I'm not running this on a toaster oven either.
In 2025 this game is absolute gem. I would 100% pre-order sequal or actually any game made by this dev.
I thought I previously positively reviewed this but suppose I forgot. I really love a lot of the works this developer makes. They're so detailed and a breath of fresh air to being unlike most games that could compare.
Cool game, great vision, but I cant recommend the game in this state. Resolution is broken and doesnt have scaling for monitors above 1080p, dev has stated "unfortunately there's nothing I can do".
Altamente recomendable.
I feel sorry for the people that have to pay now when it was free before. But anyways, this game is a hidden gem. The creator is very active chatting with players and answers the questions that we may have. Good game. Can't wait till the new updates to come
