This is, in fact, a rogue-like souls-like done about as well as that has been (also see Neverninth). There is a little bit of dissonance between the randomness of the rogue gameplay and the precision challenges of the souls gameplay, but if you like either kind of game you can bounce back from mild frustration. Some enemies have annoying attacks that bounce around a little, and it just feels like your health is being taxed unfairly. Overall there are a fun combination of weapons and skills and you get to make meaningful choices between leaning the optimal build that your current play though has dropped for you or forcing the kind of build you like the best.
controls slow and default keybinds are unorthadoxed, even when i changed them to suite me better personally i still felt like i needed 8 fingers on my left hand to play. no... just no...
Decently good Roguelike, however it is a finished product and there isn't a WHOLE lot of content, enough for 15-20 hrs of gameplay if you like roguelike games.
Hidden gem. Short, but rewards you for playing. Roguelike game progression with a Synergy system and Soulslike combat. The game isn't impressive with sounds or graphics, but it's good enough to be enjoyable. Worth picking up to scratch an itch. There was a point where the game's sound was genuinely bad but I think it got patched
It's very clunky, it feels cheap and it looks bad. Despite all this, its fun as hell. The souls-like gameplay is actually well done and the class system makes you want to do another one so it scratches that part of the roguelike fun.
I give it a 5/10 because yeah its a ok game and combat is not that easy but first it feels like a souls like and not really like a Roguelite even when you respawn and that stuff and also it is very easy for a person that have played Dark Souls and Sekiro so not that good but a game for sometimes like when you chillout.

Such a janky, but fun, game. Weirdly enough, I'm thinking the price tag actually does fit. It's about the price of a movie ticket, but you'll get more enjoyment out of this than a single 2 hour movie - as long as you can look past all of the amateurish mistakes like UI bugs, spelling errors, lack of settings, audio bugs, subpar graphics, etc. etc. All those issues are the result of the developer not wanting to spend the effort and time to polish the game. That lack of polish definitely detracts from the experience, but it doesn't prevent you from enjoying the meat and potatoes that is the rogue-like/souls-like action oriented combat. That's the actual reason you should buy this game, and while the combat isn't amazing it's good enough to have fun with.
