This game may seem relatively small, but it hides quite a large depth within it. Everything is in a fairly unique style, the graphics, levels, player interactions, and the accompanying sounds are all tied together with the overall feel of the game. A great game. Offers many different levels with a scaling difficulty. Starts slow but soon gets pretty tricky. The game offers some great features for learning the mechanics, such as bullet stats, trajectory of the bullet etc., which help the player understand what's happening more.
I've played many tower defenses in the past. This one might be the best one so far. Concepts like catching / recycling bullets for extra money or rewinding time are so simple, yet so fun and addictive it's a crime noone tried to do something like this in other games yet. The only thing missing is leveling the towers themselves up but honestly, with so many things happening on the screen and with the puzzle-based layouts, it might be for the best. And don't even get me started on the sound design. Mixing the in-game sounds and bullets into a "music" of sorts while playing is genious. The only bad thing about this game is that it (supposedly) has an end.

i've been having a lot of fun with this game. it reminded me of Shapez when i first saw it so i wasn't surprised that i ended up enjoying it so much. if you like puzzle/logic stuff and the unique flavor of this game looks appealing then you should definitely try the demo as you'll probably enjoy it. of special note, the sound design is extraordinary. i'm always happy to see when a game treats sound design as a pillar of the overall experience. it isn't something that was even necessary considering the genre, but it's done extremely well and makes the gameplay so much more enjoyable even when you can't figure out a solution. speaking of, the game can be quite difficult. i tend to struggle on the more open-ended maps where you have lots of room to build towers. a few maps have hints, but i think it would be nice if more hints were available or even just reminders of specific techniques you should focus on for a given map to help give you a nudge in the right direction. still, the challenge does not seem insurmountable, just have to keep at it. kudos to the dev for a wonderful experience.
I don't like puzzle games nor tower defense games, except Omnibullet. Great Game!
It's a fun game with a ridiculous premise and a surprising amount of depth and playtime for a first creation. It's also a game where you charge batteries by shooting them with bullets. It has elements of tower defense games - you have things moving along a set path, and your job is to make sure none of those things get to the end by building towers. It has an element of logic games, where each tower by itself is weak to useless, but they become exponentially more powerful when you combine them in the right way. What I'll praise is mainly the design. This game has a level of art direction that puts some higher-budget titles to shame. The levels are all clear and diverse - a player is never questioning what they are supposed to do, only how they want to achieve it. The graphics are simple, yet effective. Testing your solutions is made easy with the timeline you have at the bottom. Nice touch! UI is mostly clear. There are some strange decisions (I'm mostly looking at the tower shortcuts here) you'll have to live with, but nothing you'll have to actively work around And the sound design. God, the sound design. Just play the second video up top and turn the sound on, there is NOTHING I can possibly add to that, but I'll try anyways for those who can't. The sounds are sleek, electronic, yet harmonious. Every tower makes a distinct sound when a bullet passes through it. Batteries also make different sounds when hit. Meaning you CAN just claw through a level and proceed to the next one, or you can stick around and try to make it sound nice. And sometimes, you'll make a symphony on accident. Histograms have made a comeback! If you like seeing how you did compared to other players, you can do that here. If you have played open-ended-solution puzzlers, you'll like this game. If you like tower defense games, you'll like this game. If you played Rez 2000 or Rez Infinite, you'll probably have a good time, at least on the first couple levels. If you like weird games, get this one. It was a sad day when Zachtronics announced an indefinite hiatus. If you want something like that, do yourself a favour and play this one. It's a cheap pile of good times.
The 60 BPM procedural soundtrack lives rent-free inside my head and I see battery charging lines whenever I close my eyes. 11/10

Omnibullet is awesome! At first glance it looks like a Tower Defense game, and it certainly has some of those elements, but it's mostly a really clever and satisfying puzzle game. You combine towers in a variety of ways to create new and efficient ways to win each level and those levels can be challenging. But, there is no luck involved, just strategy. One of the things that makes the game so brilliant is the ability to save and rewind any level to any point in time. This makes it very easy to try out strategies and correct any that were close, but not as effective as you hoped. Lastly, the graphics and music are also very fun. I love this game!
