Anx Defense got me surprisingly invested in a genre which I'm not very familiar with, and it did so in a really fun & interesting way! I think the creative twist on the original tower defense formula will be very compelling for all kinds of players. As a novice, it might be the perfect opportunity to give this type of game a try. And for more seasoned players, this could be a breath of fresh air, giving you new mechanics to play around & challenge yourself with. Overall a highly recommended experience! :)
This game is fun and challenging at times. I like the creative side of this game : even if you play the level again, it never looks the same because there are so many choices of different layouts. The interesting thing is, if you want to change your layout, you can sell your buildings at their buying price which is great to try things out without worrying (from an experienced overthinker, this is a blessing!). On a side note, i don't usuallly play games with music on but this game's soundtrack is really nice :)

A really cool tower defense, the idea of using littles lasers that get new features at each mission is super interesting. I've already had a lot of fun, looking forward to continue exploring it until the end (and with my talent in this kind of game, I had to thank the easy mode), Well done.
It's more of a puzzle game than a tower defense game. The difficulty curve is too unreasonable, and the difficulty increases sharply after the tutorial. The levels don't give me a sense of design, and the restrictions are extremely harsh, as if the developer first decided on the solution to the level, and then designed the map based on the solution and killed other possible solutions.
A nice puzzle game with a touch of tower defense. I really like it and I recommend to play it.
Great Tower Defense Game with interesting mechanics. I have never played a tower defense game like it, mechanically speaking. Very intuitive but challenging stages, and finishing them with all "stars" can require quite a bit of trial and error (or incredible planning). Buildings can be sold for purchase price, which makes experimenting easy and you dont get punished for it. Especially towards late game its a difficult game with near endless possibilities.
I really enjoyed playing Anx Defense ! I'm not used to Tower Defense games or solving puzzles but the Campaign Mode helped me understand the game step by step. Even though the game can be challenging, it's never frustrating and it's always fun to rearrange all the pieces in order to complete the levels. I love the game's atmosphere, sound design and visuals. I am truly impressed by Nocteon Games first ever release and I can't wait to see what they will have for us in the future !!
A Tower Defense that's vastly different from the classic formula. The game can almost be seen as a puzzle-game in some ways as you really have to find the proper layout to beat the levels. You'll have to make the most out of the space and money you have. Graphics are also good and unique. There's still some room for improvements though, tutorial is not perfect, game is lacking some extra sound polish but also some quality of life improvements to simplify layout modification. But still, congratulations for making this really interesting game and I'll be waiting for more games from this studio.
I'm only one hour in, I'm sure I'll be playing more but I don't wanna forget to leave a review. There are a lot of really good things going for this game, and make it stand out from other tower defense games. Losing a wave only deals 1/5 damage, so it doesn't matter how many enemies get past your defenses. You can sell everything for 100% of its original cost, so if you setup isn't working you can start from scratch, you can rotate and move buildings during a wave, and more. My favorite thing though, is the reflector mechanic. Also, it's grid-based which is nice.
A challenging and unique tower defense, with nice graphics. i got hooked like i was with Hero Loop. Plus it's a two brothers indie first game, support them cause they meet AAA standards without the first day patch ! Well done Nocteon Games, i hope people will try this to see how good it is. It's difficult, and i like it =) PS : nice work with the UI to see what's working or not in your path ! I like to pause and see how i can optimize (but i always failed to do it, but hey, not your fault ^^)
