Straight forward point and click although not really a pixel hunting, item gathering game so much as story driven adventure that requires some mild puzzle solving.
Great point and click adventure with a wonderful story. Since finishing the game I've thought a lot about the final image and it's meaning. This is a gem of a game
Really enjoyed this. It’s a great point and click adventure with interesting time travel mechanics not seen since Day of the Tentacle! The voice acting and dialogue is particular good. The story requires some suspension of belief but if you are willing to dive into this world and get swept away you’ll have a great time.

This game's so good I bought it twice! I learned about it from a random article on the internet a few years ago. Unlike in the game, time travel doesn't exist today (at least I'm not aware of it) so I had to patiently wait for the release. Fortunately, it was well worth the wait. Wadjet Eye delivered again a story rich game with great voice acting and logical puzzles. Unfortunately, achievements didn't work for me the first playthrough (on a different platform), but the game was so good that I decided to also buy it on Steam and go the completionist way. I don't want to spoil anything, because there are so many minor details that are best discovered yourself during a (second?) playthrough. If you are into point-and-click games and find the concept of time travel at least mildly appealing, this game is a must play. As for the rest... maybe it will get you interested :)
## What I Liked - The style of the art is so good, it's a really interesting mix of styles. The way the characters really grew on me, they have a very smooth movement across the screen. - The puzzles provide plenty of hints in the world and exhausting dialog options to find some of them is a joy. - The dialog is very grounded despite the scifi concept and the world feels lived in. Unavowed also had this feeling, but again here, the characters feel like real people with real motives. Their is a complexity here in motivations that I feel it nails without becoming heavy handed. ## What I Didn't Like - There are some concepts that are over-explored I feel. There is so much trust in most cases, but then others it makes sure to throw back at you over and over again to the point of it becoming tedious. - Variable chapter length leaves some feeling more significant than others. ## Gameplay A true traditional style point and click complete with item puzzles. You are going to love it or hate it for that, it's very much true to the genre. I personally love the way that WadjetEye structures there stories and puzzles together. It leans heavily on story, but doesn't forget to challenge you as well. ## Graphics & Sound Beautiful style of graphics here and it blends so much to a cohesive vision. The key thing to note here is that each time period has to feel unique and I feel like it accomplishes that. The inclusion of the 3d affects around time travel as well makes those parts seem alive. ## Would I Recommend It? Yes! ### Who Should Skip It If you don't like traditional point and click games or if you don't like such a heavy focus on stories instead of intricate puzzles. As well, if you are expecting a huge world ending threat and not just a contemplative story about someone's identity, this might not be for you. ## PC Spec CPU: i7-14700K Memory: 32GB Video Card: RTX 3080 Storage Type: NVMe Monitor resolution: 3840×2160
Na początku byłem nieco sceptyczny jeżeli chodzi o szatę graficzną Old Skies.
