Mars has been colonized, and Earth's corporate titans fight to dominate this new market. Competition is fierce in this fast-paced economic RTS from Civilization IV Lead Designer, Soren Johnson.

Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 7 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Xbox, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Its like playing the mobile game, only few buttons to clist and couple buttons to chose.
OTC literally feels like what happens when you play an RTS with control over combat units stripped out. No big lessons were taken from board games to fill the tactical or strategic gaps: Even the aggressive (take that) powers like hiring pirates or deploying storms to destroy units feel ripped straight from bigger RTS games. The most unique element is the trading and market, but the market feels tacked on. I wanted to see the combat happening in the market, to be rushing around making deals, hording resources, or sneaking contracts right under my competition's noses. The open combat powers, from this preference, feel kind of out of place. In general, I was bored.

¡Feliz comercio interplanetario!
A very unique strategy game. It deserves a higher score than it has. Pluses: + Great for teaching economics/good simulation. + Fast paced and challenging RTS. + Great UI/graphics for what it is. + Good music score. + 4 diverse factions and many tactical powers. Minuses: - Somewhat repetitive gameplay. - Barebones campaign/storyline. - DLCs try to milk you, but add very little to the base game honestly. - Woke in character designs I suppose, but it hardly matters since you don't really interact with the characters.
Good RTS
Excellent and fun multiplayer game!
