Four-player Co-op
Deeper Progression Systems
Rogue-lite Build Options
Expanded level variety and vast outdoor fantasy environments
Spectacular physics and more ridiculous orc deaths
Visceral third-person shooter and melee combat

Enjoy the game solo or in co-op teams of up to four players – each option provides unique challenges and rewards. The game is designed to adjust to the number of players, ensuring a balanced and exciting contest in any combination.

Find your role among new War Mages, each with unique weapons, abilities, traps, and personality. Each hero is tailored to different play styles and can operate independently or work together with complementing heroes, ensuring versatile and mighty orc-smashing.

Face intensifying waves of orcs and other hideous beasts with randomized buffs and debuffs that impact your hero, traps, weapons, stats, and the levels themselves. Environmental factors like weather and time of day further influence enemies and your defensive options. As these buffs and debuffs stack, choose to push forward against the growing hordes or return to your castle hub to power up your hero, weapons, and traps before facing a formidable Orc General in a brutal boss fight.

Experience enhanced combat where the combination of heroic prowess and ingenious traps leads to unparalleled orc destruction. Engage in tighter, more responsive third-person shooter and melee combat. Enjoy crazier physics-based interactions and more ridiculous ragdoll effects. Watch with joy as your traps hurl, crush, slice, and incinerate orcs in spectacular fashion.

Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap stays true to the beloved humor, personality, and charm of the series. From witty orc chatter to over-the-top physics sending screaming orcs flying, and a strong guitar- and drum-heavy soundtrack, every moment is crafted to keep your adrenaline pumping.

Stay Away! The last update was summer 2025. The last posts on social media were summer 2025. The game feels very unfinished and I belive the company is dead.
Feels weird not recommending an Orcs Must Die game. Everything seems geared for 4 players, even the single player campaign. OMD 1,2,3 are some of my favorite games. There haven't been any updates this year, and the game needs a massive patch in order to be decent. Longtime fan votes do not buy.
This is some weird franchise downgrade compared even to OMD 3. Character design is bad, also visuals and etc. Honestly this looks like a expensive beta-version of the full game.
No update since Sept of 2025. Abandoned Game. Skip this. Shame on Robot Entertainment. Wont be tricking me into buying another one of their titles.
This game has been abandoned.
No enough maps. Nothing super unique
Game kinda sucks, even with friends. The previous games were better. Skip this one, not even worth it on sale.
Personally enjoyed the game and changes made to the series more than others have ; especially to do with the barricades. I played 90% multiplayer and completed it entirely. It does feel slightly incomplete which wasn't a problem when updates were coming out quarterly. There has been no updates for a while now and it appears like they developer has dropped it.
I really want to love this game, and while i like the concept and the gameplay, it just run well for me, i have above the specs. AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D Sapphire Nitro 7900 XTX 32gb DDR4 RAM 3200 MHZ Samsung M.2 I have the issue of it completely locking up my system, forcing me to do a manual restart, apparently this is a known issue for full AMD systems, but the games abandoned, so it will never be resolved. I have tried undervolting my card etc etc and various online suggestions, but it doesnt help.
My Favorite of the Orcs Must Die franchise.
