Mars has been colonized, and Earth's corporate titans fight to dominate this new market. Competition is fierce in this fast-paced economic RTS from Civilization IV Lead Designer, Soren Johnson.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 7 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Catan in real time, "Combat" is incredibly unique. A lot of ways to exploit and find your own victory.

Overly complicated and AI cheats. Too difficult even on easier settings. Not fun at all.

Perfect game for a quick break between games of Starcraft 2.
Great game that I keep coming back to - tough learning curve but totally worth it.
Not what the game purported to be. It is not about building a colony and trading. It is about shares and wiping your oponent as soon as possible with share manipulation and under handed tactics. Very dissapointed.
An incredibly intense, cutthroat RTS where the free market is your battlefield and a corporate buyout is your execution method. Offworld Trading Company is a brilliant, high-stress departure from traditional real-time strategy design. Created by Soren Johnson, the lead designer of Civilization IV, this game throws out tanks, soldiers, and laser cannons, replacing them entirely with supply lines, resource nodes, and a ruthlessly fluctuating stock market. Set against the harsh backdrop of a heavily colonized Mars, you run a massive corporation tasked with colonizing the planet and completely bankrupting your competitors. The game replaces physical territorial warfare with pure economic warfare; watching your rivals fail because you successfully cornered the global market on water or electronics provides a rush of intellectual satisfaction that few other strategy titles can match. The gameplay loop plays out at a breakneck, panic-inducing pace. You scan the Martian surface to claim limited tiles of iron, aluminum, silicon, or water, building processing plants to turn raw materials into advanced commodities. The absolute heart of the game is the Dynamic, Player-Driven Market. If every player floods the market with steel, the price plummets to zero, rendering production lines useless; if you notice a shortage of fuel, you can artificially manipulate the supply to gouge prices and bankrupt your opponents. To add to the chaos, the Black Market allows you to hire pirates to raid enemy supply lines, deploy EMPs to shut down rival grid tiles, or cause artificial shortages through corporate sabotage. What makes this game highly rated and endlessly replayable on Steam is its mechanical purity and fast match times. Unlike grand strategy games that take dozens of hours to conclude, a typical match here wraps up in a tense, explosive 30 to 45 minutes, making it the perfect competitive title for strategy fans short on time. The victory condition is brutally simple: you must generate enough cold, hard cash to buy out all the stocks of your rival corporations before they can do the same to you. It is a loud, fast-paced, and deeply cerebral "no-brainer" masterpiece that proves that a well-timed economic embargo can hurt far worse than a nuclear strike. 9/10 — I didn't train a single soldier, but I successfully monopolized the entire planet's oxygen supply, raised the price by 400%, and forced a rival CEO into a hostile corporate buyout. Capitalism at its finest.
There isn't really another game quite like OTC. It's got a fun set of mechanics for fairly quick strategy sessions, with games lasting around a half hour each. They can be completed against in-game bots, or friends, or a combo of both.
