if you're a fan of typing games, this is honesty too freaking good. it becomes more stressful as you keep promoting which is a nice challenge, but you can opt out if you want to and continue at any pace you're comfortable with! If you're looking to improve your WPM, this is your fun answer! i played the absolute heck out of the demo and i'm so happy i picked up the full version. at that price, there's no reason not to 💖
My playthrough: https://youtu.be/yZoE1FZak_0 Overall: 6/10 – Nice little game. Graphics: 7/10 – Minimal, clean, unique. Audio: ?/10 – There's no BGM? Gameplay: 6/10 • Fun at first. The peak for me was when I became a senior, the distraction mechanic was funny. • When I reached the manager position, I started to feel bored. I didn’t understand the SHIFT mechanic for identifying corrupt documents, since I still had to type out the misspelled word anyway. • When I burned out as a manager and typed "NEW JOB," I realized I had to start from the beginning. There wasn’t enough motivation or incentive to make me want to reach the manager position again, so I quit.

Very relaxing
Office Overloaded is a quirky typing game that came out in February of this year. I enjoy typing games so of course I had to try this out! I also needed a reason to buy more games for the Spring Steam Sale lol. The standard game mode has you play through a day's work as a simple office worker. You start off with an empty desk and can progressively use the money you earn each day to buy helpful items from the shop in the main menu. Some of these items are permanent upgrades, such as the plant reducing your stress levels (reaching a full stress bar burns you out and you have to start back at day 1) or the money cat that earns you more earned money. As your performance bar fills, you are offered the opportunity to get a promotion, which adds more mechanics. Upon reaching the rank of manager, you begin to receive corrupt documents with some pretty terribly spelled out words. You have to use the Shift mechanic to discard them; if you just type out the word normally, you'll get hit with a mistake on your counter. The way I figured out how to manage this weird mechanic is, you don't have to hold shift while you type out the word (though it helps so you can see exactly what you're typing on bigger words). As long as you hold Shift as you type the last letter in the word, the document will be discarded and it won't count against you. I am assuming that I won the CEO battle despite being one document behind is because he made more mistakes overall on the final result screen which may have tanked his score. I was pretty sure I had failed but miracles do happen everyday! Cute little game! I recommend it if you like these simple typing games. It only took me about an hour to get all 4 of the achievements, which are the promotion ranks you get in the standard game mode.
Short but very sweet, it took me about an hour to get all of the achievements. Still some stuff I could play for and unlock though. I haven't played the multiplayer (now that it's released) but just going off of the singleplayer I imagine it's quality. Great little typing game all around! :)
A fun little game
Are you familiar with the game "It's As If You Were Doing Work"? This is that game on steroids. It's a blast! You can advance at your own pace, meaning you choose the challenge level you're ready for. Easy to figure out, and relaxing. Makes me feel like I've accomplished something work wise even if my IRL work isn't perfect. Highly recommend.
fun little typing game! i liked it so much i made my own custom word list so that i can roleplay a specific type of office job in there, hehe.
