Most realistic disc golf VR game out right now. It is fun to unlock new discs and courses and multiplayer is quite enjoyable.
This game is a ton of fun. I think you'll definitely have a better experience with a friend to play with though. I play a ton of disc golf, so I can appreciate the attention to detail in flight characteristics of drives and putts. Still a little buggy with inaccurate OB thresholds and some interesting disc flights. One bigger big I'd mention is the game seems to stop a round as soon as the last putt on the 18th goes in. You cannot view the scoreboard or anything. All bugs aside, still a fun game.

Best VR disc golf game I've played. Devs are VERY open to feed back and respond quickly to suggestion.
why are trees?
It's fun when you get use to the controls. Been playing real life Disc golf for about 9years now and this is pretty close to the real thing. 9/10
I am happy I selected this VR Disc Golf game as there are several to choose from. Very appreciative of the amount of activity from the developer. Some things I would have liked have been recently added like seeing running score to par during a game. Some feedback for the developer that I think will make it even better: The number of discs and the different stats/specs is a bit daunting in trying to work out what 4 discs to play on each course. It would be nice to easily see the 4 stats for the discs when in the loadout screen. Also it would be nice to have some details on the holes of each course - par and lengths. I ended up taking drivers into one course I just unlocked and never used as all 18 holes where under 70m. Would even be better to be able to save/load preferred loadouts for each course, or even just manually naming them yourself would work. Also for me the challenge is trying to break par or beat previous best. Would really like to be able to see my best score for each course. At the moment I am taking screenshots of final scorecard but seems steam vr has issues showing these in VR so have to check in flat screen.
*Update: After taking about a year break and playing for 40 more hours, there was new maps and new discs to unlock. Very fun still and they fixed a few bugs here and there. OB is still very unpredictable. If you throw close to the OB markers just assume it will add a stroke regardless of it's it out or not. Other bugs include throwing OB and the game not locating the disc and not giving you a "next shot" forcing you to end the round and restart. disc prices are kind of low. after about 2 times through the courses I had all the discs unlocked again. Would like to see those be more expensive to encourage playing more. Currently sitting on 70k chainlinks that I can not use for anything. Maybe add cosmetics to spend them on? Hope the game progresses still and would love to see an update soon. I have updated the original comment to eliminate things that have been fixed.* played for about 45 hours and love the game. really hope the dev doesn't drop production Bugs (Valve Index): 1) OB has a hard time registering and sometimes either throws a false OB or none at all when it's CLEARLY OB 2) Discs do, but rarely fall through the bottom of the basket causing the game to not register and forcing a re throw or +1 to score. 3) My bag spawns over 3 feet in front of me making me have to lean forward to grab it and pull it closer to me 4) disc recommendation is usually wrong, I could have a 100 ft throw and have a mid range in the bag and it auto selects the High Diver 5) When walking up to the pad the bag may or may not spawn causing me to have to walk away and teleport / re walk up to the pad to get it to spawn. (I understand the game is new just bringing them to dev's attention not complaining) Pros: 1) NOT to be taken super seriously. Can just throw casual rounds. would love to host tournaments in the future??? 2) Putting is not SUPER unrealistic so can help a bit with form and technique 3) a lot of fun with being able to walk around courses and come up with different angles and shots without having to use launchpad Would like to see: 1) More courses 2) More discs 3) different modes 4) game go F2P and add in game item shop to buy discs / clothes (hats) and different player models (community is going to be small because it's disc golf and even smaller because it's VR only) 5) Challenges on the course ex: Closest To Pin +50 chainlinks (or something) 7) weather aka wind rain 9) Realism mode where you have to watch your disc and walk to it and find it 10) maybe workshop support so community can make maps / mods these are just the things I can think of off the top of my head
I think this game needs som major tweaks before it gets good. The concept is nice and there are a few courses to choose from. But the physics feel really weird and sometimes super floaty.
Mechanics just don`t feel near to real. Fell thru a hill a couple times - and putting is best played by pushing your putter, not throwing or spinning. With some tweeks I feel this game could be worthwhile.
It's good. Not perfect, but there really is nothing else like it. As other reviewers have said, the physics could use some tweaking. I hope the devs will do something about push putting in future patches. As of now, the putter flies like it weighs almost nothing and you have to take almost all power off your putt to hit. With some tweaking, especially the putting could be super fun. Another physics thing to fix would be anhyzers. Even the most understable discs never hold their anhyzer line, fading extremely hard left at some point, even when given an extreme anhyzer angle. All that said, this is currently my favorite vr game by far. Despite its flaws.
