The Faraway Land invites players on a contemplative adventure through a hauntingly beautiful world filled with puzzles, secrets, and quiet storytelling. It’s less about action and more about atmosphere, reflection, and discovery. At its heart, The Faraway Land is an exploration-driven narrative game. You wander through lush, mysterious environments that blend nature and surreal elements, piecing together fragments of a larger story through environmental clues and subtle interactions. The puzzles are gentle but clever, encouraging players to think rather than rush. There’s no rush here — the game’s pace is deliberately slow, inviting moments of pause and awe. The visuals are striking in their simplicity — pastel-hued landscapes and soft textures combine with a dreamlike art style that perfectly complements the game’s themes of memory and loss. It’s a place that feels both familiar and alien, evoking emotions without heavy dialogue or exposition. The soundtrack is equally evocative, with ambient melodies and natural sounds that heighten immersion and deepen the emotional resonance of each scene. The narrative unfolds delicately through exploration rather than cutscenes or text walls. Players piece together a story of love, separation, and hope by observing the environment and solving its mysteries. The minimalistic approach means interpretation is personal, making each player’s experience unique. Pros: -Beautiful, atmospheric world that invites exploration -Thoughtful puzzles that fit naturally into the environment -Poignant, subtle storytelling with emotional depth -Relaxing pace perfect for reflective play sessions Cons: -Narrative can feel too vague or sparse for some players -Slow pacing might not appeal to everyone -Limited gameplay variety beyond exploration and puzzles The Faraway Land is a meditative journey that’s as much about feeling as it is about seeing or solving. If you’re a fan of atmospheric adventures like Journey or Firewatch, and enjoy games that invite reflection rather than fast action, this is a wonderful experience worth exploring. “A gentle, beautiful voyage through memory and mystery, perfect for players who cherish atmosphere and story over speed.” Rating: 7/10

Decent survival game in a unique visual style and grindy gameplay. You start by creating a character who won’t have any name. Character creator is fairly simple because all you can do is select different hair and beard styles and modify the color of a variety of stuff, including eyes and skin. Once you're satisfied with the character, you're immediately transported to the open world. You are greeted by a Twinkle of Wisdom, which exposes the game's overarching aim. The goal is to fulfill the five statues by delivering the required item. Each statue represents a distinct style, such as animals, craft, or education. This implies you'll have to try everything, even if you don't want to. There is no handholding. You begin with nothing, not even the most basic tools like an axe or a sword. Fortunately, you can use your fists to cut down trees and break rocks. So the first thing you should do is explore and look for tasks from various NPCs. Each quest giver is intended to expose you to the game's mechanics and will provide you with materials and recipes to help you get started. If you give them what they desire, they will reward you with even more useful items. What they want and what you get is always visible in the quest menu. There are a lot of different recipes. Some may be made on the spot, while others require specialized structures such as fireplaces and forges. Although items used to interact with the world gradually lose their durability, the majority of simple goods do not require a large number of materials to be created. You gain experience points by fighting and obtaining resources. When you finish filling out the bar, you gain one skill point. There are three different skill trees: archer, swordsman, and survivor. Survivor will come naturally because you get some every time you collect a resource. The other two are a little trickier because you must attack with either a sword or a bow. Unfortunately, there is a significant amount of grinding required before you can afford to upgrade. They're pricey, with the first improvement costing three skill points. Because this is a survival game, you must keep an eye on food and water. Water is everywhere, yet it could be dirty. This will make you sick. Disease is a fairly common affliction since it can occur even when your clothing are soaked from the rain or water. The reason surviving is crucial is because you only have five lives. Each time you die, you waste a resurrection stone. It is possible to make more, but they demand the most rare components. Once you've lost all of your stones, the game is ended. This mechanic seems excessive and meaningless, given that you can save at any time.
Would have been a fun game but the multiplayer experience is soooooo buggy. Between chests refusing to close (and making interacting with anything else impossible), the game just refusing to boot up or load different areas sometimes. Arc 2 (theofin and morac) is ANNOYING. Why would you take away teleportation at that stage???

if black screen happen, just wait until it is ready, the owner is really kind and helpful in discord, the game is realistic
