I came into this game knowing it had a heavy emphasis on hypnosis/mind control/etc. themes, I did NOT expect it to have a really solid team based RPG combat system. Came for the porn, stayed for the extremely well put together combat system.
Very fun game. early game is a little punishing, but when losing is it's own reward it's no real issue. the creator is a (lewd) genius and covers a huge array of kinks, both in the TF based class system and the numerous bad ends and enemies the bosses are fun even if a little spongy. overall 9/10. 10/10 on the horny scale.
Best mind control game I've dug up by far- the only other games I've found that do it exceptionally well are Snow Daze and Campus Magnum. Spiral Clicker and Overwhored are both also very good, just not as outstanding
memorable NSFW tags: corruption | mind control | transformation | non consent | interracial / inter species | female protagonist | ... no patch odyssey of gianna is a transformation type game where you play as a princess that gets a quest to retrieve the orbs and their books throughout the lands. this game is both clever and humorous at times but most of all, it is a gigantic map to explore, with the dlc adding even more places to it. the variety in enemies / effects is pretty well done, except for those times where they would petrify/cocoon/etc your whole team resulting in a game over (without preparation). even on easy mode this game can be a challenge, but once you reach a certain level "nothing" will be a problem anymore, finding transformations that upgrade your team especially. i cannot call this game bug free (the game having lag spikes + having a character that is both arachnid and golem that keeps switching to original, arachnid and golem every so often), however it has not crashed once in my recent run until a dlc ending. the art style is pretty enough. the characters are fairly well done. the mechanics made enough sense to me to go without a guide (i remember using the wiki in my first playthrough though, just not for what (it has been a year since)). i honestly find the price a bit low for what this game contains, i currently have 51 hours on this game with only 2 non completion playthroughs for context. the dlc for this game adds a few new places and a lot of new enemies, transformations, gear, a character and endings. i recommend this game mainly for the reason that there is not as many good transformation games on steam and the fact that a game over does not require you to load a save + the giant map for exploring.
Odyssey of Gianna is so, so, SO much more than just an "hgame." When I first bought it on a previous account, I was drawn in by the cute Kisekae art and advertised TF content, but I could never have anticipated the sheer amount of LOVE put into this game. I cannot stress how well this game is written. Most adult games fall into the pithole of having writing that is overtly depraved. Whether it be a far-flung fantasy game or a realistic simulator, the traditional way of just having characters portrayed as completely one-dimensional, narrowed down to the most basic of sexual tropes. OoG could not be more different form this. Each of the main characters has quirks, motivations, interests, MORALS, even hidden desires. This is a cast I genuinely got *attached* to, and as the games story progressed, I genuinely got invested into the outcome. Not to mention the world of Gianna itself is so fleshed out -- the world is just BURSTING with life and lore. Moreover, OoG easily has the most in-depth game mechanics I have ever seen in an hgame. There is a full-fledged RPG here, with different ways to build characters, and an assortment of different playstyles. You can fall in love with one character's base kit, or instead TF them into something completely juxtaposed to what they originally were! The sheer amount of combinations of Statuses and characters is mind-blowing, and the Status system itself is impressive enough. Overall, the most important part of OoG is that the developer's love for both games and TF content shine through in every part of the experience. So much of this game is an expression of not only their own creativity, but a celebration of all the weird and slightly obscene fantasies that many people have yet are fearful to admit. As silly as some may think this is, OoG has genuinely improved my self-image. Please, if you are remotely interested in any of the content described, pull the trigger and play Odyssey of Gianna. You won't regret it. Much love, NOMK <3
Fantastic game. My hours on steam barely compare to the time I've spent in the version from itch.io-- highly recommend if you're a fan of TF content. Fun characters, so, so many TFs-- and even a DLC on the way! Get it now, get it now!!
I speak without hyperbole when I say this is probably the best H-game you'll ever play, partly because there's enough stuff here to cater to almost everyone, even the niche things, but also because it's an actual *game* with *stuff* in it, controversially, and an actual story that you can get behind. RPG Maker games have their limits, but OoG pushes those limits about as far as they can go to properly blend the H and the game aspects. It is indeed a simple thing to lose basically every fight, but that's because losing is half the fun. Long live the Princess!
For a game with not that great art which would normally be a death sentence for Nsfw games imo they knock it out of the ball park. This is made by someone who absolutly understand Nsfw games and rpg maker. fun status conditions that change you charecters look skills writing and stats a massive amount of lose scenarios. fun development between charecters marriage is well made every party member has a distinct unique personality. tons of content a open world you can explore in multiple differnnt ways and unique and fun dungeons. they have a lot of variety with there art which may be simplistic but they do a lot with it to make it shine. my only complaint is futa being fairly prevelant.
surprisingly great rpg combat with a fun story and interesting world. i love how some classes act very different from each other. i keep finding new stuff and pleasantly surprised. the combat is so good. i don't know how to say how good it is. great stuff and sexy on top. Edit: i don't know how i forgot this but the soundtrack is amazing!
