I speak without hyperbole when I say this is probably the best H-game you'll ever play, partly because there's enough stuff here to cater to almost everyone, even the niche things, but also because it's an actual *game* with *stuff* in it, controversially, and an actual story that you can get behind. RPG Maker games have their limits, but OoG pushes those limits about as far as they can go to properly blend the H and the game aspects. It is indeed a simple thing to lose basically every fight, but that's because losing is half the fun. Long live the Princess!
after successfully defeating (and recruit Annie) - you can't do anything else. The Tomb has a big crack in the floor, so your party is unable to resume exploring. Other thing you can do, if you want to is: marry one of your teammates. Or, purchase the 🤡 nose, then once equipped and she's been turned into a clown, then that might make the fight easier (depending on the enemy)
good game ticks all the right boxes for me
Great game. The only downside is it is too short, but it is more of the engine's problem. I think any longer and the creator of the game wouldn't make it out.
Beautiful game and wonderful dev 10/10
Story: In the year 1200 A.G, the kingdom of Ginanna was at peace. But there’s tension between the crown and parliament so to settle things, parliament has tasked Princess Lilina to retrieve six powerful orb for the kingdom. And if she fails then the heir to the crown is eliminated. The premise is pretty good. A simple goal that should help tie the world and characters together. Well I say that but while the world builder is fine for the most part, when it comes to the main characters it’s a bit lacking. Like you start off, you’re meeting your teammates, you have a run in with the snooty main villain, everytings good so far, then you go to meet the mayor of Sea Market and you notice it’s a one-sided conversation. And that’s where the problem lies. With very,VERY few exceptions like the endings or weddings, your party barely interacts with other people. This is okay if my MC was a self insert but she’s not. She has friends, family, a history. It just means Lilina doesn’t get the fleshing out she needs or why she does certain things like why do recruit the unrepentant puppet cultist to the party or why is there no reaction to what happens with that scientist or why I would even consider selecting the punish option when I’m the breaking and entering and stealing their stuff. I’ll admit they are some characters that get the proper freshing out or just enough where they don’t need much like Jyla or Annie. But others like Nuan needed more work. Like I was just looking up the endings to see the different bride dialogue and looking up Nuan mentions she has to pay a ransom for her sister. I would say that was a spoiler but it’s never mentioned in the game. A whole character's motivation for doing what they are doing isn’t brought up at all. And no the Team Chat doesn’t help because that was part of the DLC and mainly just fleshes out the group dynamic. And as for the Bad Ends….I admit, I didn’t watch all of these. Not cause they are bad but I’m into not the kind of guy who intentional loses just to watch a sex scene. But from the frew I did see, the dev really made due with the limitations of the puppets Gameplay: While I had my issues with the plot, the gameplay is another story. First off, this is an open-world and a pretty good one too. Not only can you go wherever you want from the word go(except for some end game areas) but the map itself is actually quite small. Like from the starting town the most northern end should take you 3 minutes while the from West Beach to the other side of the map might take 5 minutes. And I like this, not cause it reminds me how Mario and Luigi 1 handled its hub area but because it makes it easy to navigate and know where you need to go isn’t too far. Plus the handy fast travel for every town and dungeon that are clearly marked also helps too. And dungeon design is also well done. Sure you got your standard dungeons like the tower or tomb, but some dungeons have a unique gimmick like Alshia’s house which has tile puzzles to solve or the Chateau with its unique combat puzzles where you get hurt if you attack wrong. Can’t think of any dungeons that are bad. Boring maybe like the catacombs but never outright bad. The game also does a great job of easing players in and giving them a direction to start. You are told to go east to Sea Market where you have your first fight and a tutorial boss to get use to the combat. Afterwards you can follow the path connecting the starting town to a few points of interest to get some party members and your first few macguffins and then you should be ready to explore the rest of the map. But how's the combat? It’s really good for RPGMaker standards. That first fight in the market should teach you a few things like you want to keep your HP up and your Lust down, you don’t want to get hit by status effects and you want to prioritise who to hit. In that first fight, the two goons can put collars on your party, but only the magistrate can turn them on so you want to take her out before that could happen. And several enemies are like this. And bosses can be real challenges in a good way, like the first real boss I fought was the nun and while I beat her on my first go, it was a real struggle that got me engaged. One of the selling points is that there are a lot of fetish themed status effect from just being aroused or being turned into a puppet or a monster-girl, some that involve being kick out of the party for good reasons like server or mannequin bad reasons like tree or scarecrow, and a few which involve being sexual assaulted so thats something to be wary of. So yeah they wanted to make fetishes a key part of the combat and they mostly succeeded. The only tumble is that unless it happens to the commoner who mostly useless outside that, the class based status effects like Bimbo or Clown are not worth putting much time into since the base classes are ready pretty good and effort to get turn them on and off again just wasn’t worth it for me. I’m sure some players can come up with some strategies to use the different classes but I wasn’t one of them. I just wanted to cure them ASAP And of course there’s the flirting mechanics which are okay. Just flirt with an ally once per status effect and get or lose relation points based on their reaction or just shower them with gifts in the beach house. And when they like you enough you can marry one of them and grant them the bride class which is like their base class but with better stats. But you can only have one bride per playthough…unless you mod in polyamory so you can marry all of them and make the most of the flirting mechanics. I admit I did play a few mods, mainly the polyamory mod(which isn’t finished with the DLC and may crash the new ending), a mod for some nicer overworld sprites, and one for another party member who’s kind of like a red mage but more of a focus on AOE spells. And also, the modder has Lilina talk to her and have a coversation Presentation: Can’t say much about the presentation since most of the stuff is RPGmaker stuff or license-free music. As for the art puppets used for portraits and battle sprites, I saw them before on deviantArt but they’re put to good use here, being used for every enemy or and status effect for every party member, the dev really put the effort to make them look the best they could be. Though with the amount of nudity and sexual status effects, I can understand why there hasn’t been let’s play on YouTube. There is also a bit of lag but it only happens between screens and during the boss fight with the Mindmill. Verdict: Despite my issues this is a a well made and highly recommend it for people looking for a more kinky RPG 7/10
Good game, story is on track and it's forgiving
A riveting RPG with a novel take on status conditions. It is in my opinion very much worth the purchase.
I like this Game. Have a Simple Premise and have unforgettable Bossfight and surprise. Character is likeable und charming. At least for me. Class and Mechanik is fun. A good game for a Hentai rpg Game.
