Bat, Strike, Kick and Smack balls into monstrous menagerie in this retro sport themed fps roguelike, where you are sucked into a portal and emerge with a plethora of sport equipment repurposed into an arsenal of lethal weapons.
- Use a variety of sporting equipment to defeat hordes of monsters straight from 50's era creature features by heavy metal baseballs, lightning infused hockey pucks, bowling ball turrets and elemental golf balls that freeze, ignite, or terrify anything in their path, and more!
- Chat with Jar Dude, your rather questionable guide, who will help you get your bearings in this bizarre world while cracking jokes along the way (whether you want to hear them or not).

The game also has good retro styled graphics, a nice soundtrack and goofy looking enemies. Don't expect good level design though, it's only very basic and small arenas here in Sportal. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3752724291 It took me less than three hours to complete an entire run and kill all the bosses, I hope the developers will add more content if possible. Maybe bigger arenas with even more enemies on screen or harder difficulties because the game can become really easy once you get OP weapons and modifiers. I'm gonna give it the full two hours before I refund it. Cons, maps too small, generic. weapons dont evolve or combo to my enjoyment. they just have varients. not enough meat on this bone for me. gonna buy a burger combo instead.

Addicting action, charming art style, good soundtrack, unique and engaging weapons, and plenty of gear to mess around with. Easy to pick up and just have a good time with. I've had issue with mechanics and design decisions of previous titles by this developer, but aside from like one bug I encountered, I have nothing but praise for this one. For fans of indie passion projects of the weird and unforgettably fun, this is a must have.

O jogo é muito bom, ele tem um estilo bem único com sua temática e armas porém no geral achei um pouco curto dms ele tem uma progressão de fases com chefes ao final sendo um rougue like que vc vai escolhendo os upgrades a medida que upa de level. Achei bem legal as armas e os monstros lembra um pouco postal brain damage o estilo e na criatividade. No geral ele tem uma arvore de habilidades grande onde vc ganha moedas nas runs e assim gasta nos upgrades q facilitam o jogo. Enfim eu espero que ainda lancem mais conteúdos adicionais aqui pq realmente é muito bom. E pra quem assim como eu gostou do jogo recomendo irem atrás do postal brain damage e do fidaput samurai que são bem similares a esse.

actually beat the game in 2.5 hours with the bowling ball and lacrosse stick, legit fun as hell very mindless but overall could use a lot of variety in more upgrades and weapons and maybe an endless mode. tbh it would be very incredible if there was a return to the beginning feature with all new unlocks and stuff. but yea good game, had fun in that 2 and a half hours. pls devs keep updating the game with new content.
Review after 100% completion: I didn’t think I would like this at first but this is Probably one of the funnest cleanest roguelight games I’ve ever played, You start off pretty weak, but the progression system is just as fun as the actual gameplay and becomes super addictive! Definitely support this game so we can get more content and hopefully more arenas please!!
