Num One: Revised Edition

Really solid, surprisingly addictive puzzle game. Think 2048/Threes meets a match 3. Glad you can easily change the color scheme.

Simple concept, surprisingly deep and engaging gameplay. Combines elements from 2048 and matching games (bejeweled/candy crush) while also adding in novel mechanics. If you found those games fun and want more depth, Num One is great, adding layers that make decision-making multi-dimensional and force thoughtful play to succeed. As someone who enjoys and does well with puzzles, specifically the process of developing a strategy within the constraints of the game, I have had a great time playing through the different game modes and have been impressed with how much thought I've had to put into it.

Intial impression were man I wish I could change some of these colors and then there is just the feature, right there to do just that. And it isn't even just the number color but the move space color combo to any color on the pallet wheel. So yea, fun puzzle game with a "make it your own" if you have a uh, color blindness this game has you covered.

Holy moly is this game addictive. I literally played passed my bedtime a couple of nights ago and I kept wanting to get a higher score than before. A simple yet ADDICTIVE (should be registered under the CDC as an illicit drug). Totally worth the price! Update: Some of the bugs are fixed and still fun. If you're a fan of candycrush or bejeweled then this is the game for you

Woah this is incredibly good. You merge numbers match-3 style to make bigger numbers. Bigger numbers have higher "level" and are better for merging because they have a longer swap range. It's very satisfying and has a lot of depth from organizing your board as you're building it up. Also has some good variety in going for different numbers as goals. Main downside for me is games take quite a long time, and take longer as you get better.

Fun idea for a mix of 2048 and match-3; pieces can sum up differently depending on how many wind up combining, which creates a LOT of different types of blocks to match -- but to compensate for the complexity, higher-level pieces can MOVE FARTHER, which makes otherwise-unlikely combinations actually feasible with some strategy! Better yet -- unlike a lot of puzzle games that I've seen on Steam, it actually has autosave so you can drop out and come back to the board later! This makes it particularly pleasant on Steam Deck (which it seems to support perfectly so far!) I've just started, but I'm enjoying it.

This is one of those games that you start playing with the plan of only squeezing in one quick game, just one, before you ultimately go into a fugue state and lose hours or days of your life at a time. This game is addicting. Every time you sit at your computer, you'll say to yourself: "I'm going to play Elden Ring today. I won't boot up Num One. I swear, I won't do it. I won't let myself. My therapist said that I'm stronger than that." And then you score a 2187 block. That sweet, sweet rush of endorphins floods your blood stream. It's ecstacy. Uh oh, you're out of moves though. It's ok. Just one more game. I can put the needle down. After this next one. I've been obsessed with this game since it hit the Play store and I'm so happy that it's on Steam now!

I like that this game keeps throwing me twists and power. There's real strategy that's evolving the further in I get, and I'm enjoying being surprised at how much more I can plan out combinations and future strategy than I first expected. I encountered a couple light bugs - my score not displaying between rounds, even if it wasn't lost, and I couldn't tell if there was supposed to be background music or not. Nothing terrible, but I'd love to see if this title is a little more polished later. In the mean time, $3 is a steal for what easily took an hour of my free time - and the incentive of unlocking more numbers was surprisingly effective. It was great unlocking a more powerful number and then feeling like a Queen in Chess, flying around the board as long as you planned your moves right. Great stuff!
