I have only played a bit of the game so far, but I can already tell this game is going to be awesome!! The enemy design is awesome, and the story has me quite intrigued! Tristan is someone I can really relate to and the atmosphere of the world really sucks you in! I wanna click all the flavor text and find all the collectibles! I can't wait to play more!!

game does have old school style to it like any survival game there is plenty items find or purchase since game does not have map its not that complicated to get lost since each area is not that long just few rooms lest then 8 to 10 find key or item to move on till reach the boss and move on to the next area there is also souls you can equip up to 4 increase your stats damage or def or healing

Noxia Somnia is a side-scroller action-horror game with neat pixel graphics. At the center of the story is a young man named Tristian, who suffers from depression due to past and present life struggles. All of these features are located in the hub world—a peaceful forest from Tristian's dreams. Players can also discover or purchase an enchanted whistle capable of summoning different helpers. Additionally, you must monitor the "exposure meter" – if it exceeds 100, your HP starts to decrease. Each boss in the game represents Tristian's life failures and features unique OSTs during battle, enhancing the atmospheric experience. Ce jeu est incroyable. Tout est maîtrisé : graphismes pixel art de haute qualité, bande-son orchestral avec de bonne utilisations des leitmotiv, histoire sublime et gameplay très propre. Le mix entre Metroidvania et Horror-Game est super bien réalisé et fonctionne très bien. Il y a un soin minutieux qui a été apporté à chaque détail du jeu. Pour pleinement profiter de l’expérience, il faut y jouer quand on est réellement concentrer à suivre l'histoire, on se sentira tout de suite plus proche de ce que vit le personnage principal. Les dialogues sont très bien écrits, ils sont très plausible et réaliste. Ce que vit le héros de cette histoire pourrait faire écho à la réalité de certains d'entre nous, et si c'est le cas, ça peut toucher fort émotionnellement si on se reconnait à travers ce personnage. Le gameplay est bien conçu, le personnage réponds très bien aux commandes et est assez souple en combat. L'arbre de talents vient enrichir encore un peu plus cet ensemble. Il y a peu d'ennemis dans le jeu, mais chacun possède un pattern propre et cela devient très vite satisfaisant quand on comprend le principe, idem pour les boss de chaque acte. Je connais le développeur et je peux affirmer que c'est un jeu qui a réellement été fait avec passion et avec le cœur, c'est devenu rare des jeux comme ça de nos jours, je recommande fortement.

Very intriguing and beautiful game. Haven't finished yet, but from what I've went through so far, the story is great: seeing how Tristan struggles to get better with his mental health through scary monsters and reminiscence of the past makes for an engaging story. The gameplay is also very fun, simple yet effective! Fun combat, great boss design and levels. Give the game a chance, it's really good 👍

Great game, great message. Playing on higher difficulties is unfair since you take damage just by being seen...

Any game that can make so many streamers weep on stream gets a big thumbs up from me. This is some emotional stuff. Also, Ultimate will complete the story, which will be great to see how it all ends. Tristan was the main antagonist all along is my bet.

Played this game when it was in alpha then played it briefly so far but plan on continuing dont forget to pet the cat.
