Nowhere Prophet is a single player card game with procedurally generated maps, a high difficulty and permadeath. At it's heart are two distinct parts of gameplay: Travel and combat.
TRAVEL
During travel you navigate across a procedurally generated map. Make sure your convoy has enough resources to travel as you pick your route. On your journey you will encounter strange places and even stranger people. You will be thrust into situations that put the fate of your followers in your hands.
If you're lucky enough to gain some rewards, maybe for helping someone - or robbing them, then you can invest those to improve your decks. Recruit more followers to have more and different units to put into battle. Equip your prophet or level up and learn new skills to have access to stronger action cards in combat.
COMBAT
You will have to overcome some enemies to keep your convoy and resources together. And sometimes you may even want to pick a fight for righteousness or just for loot. Once in battle the game changes to the turn-based card game mode.
Play convoy cards to put your followers onto the field and position them so you can overcome your enemy. Or play action cards to dramatically change the battlefield. But be careful: If you're wounded you will have to find a safe place to heal. And if one of your followers takes too many wounds, they are lost forever.

Nowhere Prophet is set on a far off planet called Soma. Your story begins many years after the Crash, a complete technological collapse. Civilization has broken down and the lack of resources made everyone turn either bandit or madman.
In this world inspired by Indian culture you lead a convoy of outcastes. These desperate men and woman following your vision of a better future. Under your guidance they travel with you through the wastelands. Your goal is the Crypt, a mystical place that promises untainted technology and safety.
If you can survive long enough to find it.

Extremely engaging, highly recommended!
It's a good game, I like it for the world building and aesthetics, but the gameplay keeps drawing me back in. There is a clothing label, 'Hamc.us' the dev would like them I think.
This game is draining, I spent easily over 20 hours on this game on console attempting to beat it but that never happened. I saw it on sale for steam and thought, "Hey, there's that game again. its been a while maybe they've updated it to be fun?" To that i was sorely wrong. The game is punishing in a way that i have never seen a game of its type try to do, and probably for a good reason. Whenever one of your followers is prompted to attack an enemy follower it takes damage according to the enemies damage stat. This little feature is the most aggravating quick that could be added to a game and it turns any regular walk in the park encounter into a bout of walking on coals and needles trying to find a spot that wont leave you without feet to stand on. this feature makes it so a 5/4 follower of mine suddenly gets eviscerated by a 4/1 follower that the enemy leader can crank out faster than rabbits multiply, just because i wanted to clear the lane i get punished. The bosses are a grueling and honestly dreadful experience that could probably make any sensible developer wince. Take the waste of code Lizard King. That ♥♥♥♥♥♥ is the worst thing that could happen to any run ever, get this, the leader has a modifier that when any follower attacks it they take a lethal amount of damage no matter who they are or where they are on the board. This doesn't even consider that the Lizard King cranks out beasts that have an average stat-line of 3/3+ every turn. The game-play loop for the normal fights is honestly boring unless you get unlucky with your cards then suddenly *SPLAT* you and your whole caravan have been pancaked by 20 beasts in the middle of nowhere because you thought unlikely meant maybe about 30-40% chance when in actuality you could just go ♥♥♥♥ yourself because unlikely means that you'll never see the alternative outcome in a million years. The shop systems in this game are horrific, only offering a couple of already damaged followers that cost enough to make a poorer prophet weep in despair at how low the world has fallen. The leveling system is decent, or could be decent if it didn't leave you bankrupt every time that you think your ready to progress. The gear in the game is so non-consequential that i think the devs could have made every single piece of equipment do the exact same thing and it wouldn't change the grand outcome. If you're looking for a game of this type PLEASE do not buy this one unless you are certain that you are an avid player of these games that can use tactical might to play an experience similar to dragging nuts or vaj through shattered and filthy glass. I recommend the alternatives of WILDFROST (personal pick) or Breachways (Much more niche) or just go buy dredge.
one of the best games i've played. So underrated because of the hard difficulty, which actually makes the game much more addictive and realistic. I mean, The world is about you being sacrificed or sacrificing.
Fantastic Magic/Hearthstone like indy. Needs more positive reviews!
Пока играешь постоянно ловишь себя на мысли что все выглядит и играется очень дешево (так и есть) , но лучше поиграть в другие творения.
норм
根本没有平衡,牌还没对面的AI好,恶心的一笔。
Really good deck builder with fun combat and mechanics that are an interesting twist to card games like magic or hearthstone. I love this game and fully recommend it to anyone who likes card games.
10 for the prophet из 10
