About
As the once-great Roman Empire falls into decadence and decay, you lead a small band of citizens in search of new lands hoping to build Nova Roma – a bastion for all that was once good in the Empire. Starting from a humble village, you must appease the gods with grand temples, sate your citizens’ many needs, and build a society that will be the envy of the world for millennia to come.

A wise city planner knows how to harness the world around them. Erect massive dams and aqueducts to control the flow of water as you reshape the land into artificial watersheds and reservoirs, paying close attention to how your actions impact soil fertility, or how a particularly rainy season might flood your city. Seek distant resource deposits and build infrastructure to transport raw materials and processed goods across massive stretches of untamed territory. Will you strike a delicate balance between the growing urban sprawl of your city and the risks of rapid expansion? Or will your hubris risk the wrath of the gods and nature itself?

Contend with a growing list of needs and desires as more people flock to your city – from pottery and wine to bread and games, it is your responsibility to keep the people happy and safe. Watch them grow into artisans, gladiators and thespians, and guide them through life as they spend their days toiling, and their nights enjoying the fruits of their labor.

As you consider matters of taxation and technological advancement, do not forget the powers that stand above you - build grand temples to the gods, avoiding their wrath and seeking their blessings to bolster your capabilities and ensure the continued prosperity of Nova Roma.
Featuring intricate water and weather simulations and the ever-present threat of divine intervention, Nova Roma explores the cultural, and social trials of the era. Take charge of your small Roman town and grow it into a bustling metropolis that will stand the test of time!

Been playing for a few days and IM HOOKED, its obv still being dev and added upon but unironically its very fun and if you like city builders but aren't too good at them (like me) than this one hits the sweet spot of still having a simple learning curve for new comers to the genre as a whole and being dynamic enough for more playthroughs even after finishing the current content available!! Highly recommend picking it up and playing it!!
meine stadt 10 mal niedergerissen und steuere schon aufs nächste mal zu. Ich liebe Wasser. 20/10
Физика воды и как она влияй на плодородие, возможности изменить рельеф и течения, дамбы и каналы! оч круто!
Loved Kingdoms and Castles, and this game improves upon it in every way. Looks fantastic, plays great, and is getting constant updates improving performance, mechanics, and polishing features. Excited for any new content and DLC coming down the road. Easily my favorite casual city builder.
The Game Is Really Fun But, Its Really Hard To Get Started In This Game, Especially If You Have A Bad Seed.
Fun city builder! love the look of the game. Feels familiar if your use to these games but new and unique at the same time.
I like this game. It's a mixture of a city builder and a defensive, like you have to defend your town when foreign invaders come around.
画风可以的卡通天际线(水流不错)
ok is a beta... full playable, in 6 h no bug detected... it totally not worth 11$ for now, i can enjoy the game but the graphics is very ugly work great on linux and after all i ejoyed the game for now! so is not that bad but for what u buy i think 6$ is the right price, no new mechanic, nothing new to see but if u like some strategy game is ok
nova roma is an amazing game and i really enjoyed it. but i have encountered one problem with the "irrigation" achievement and i have seen many other people who also cant get it. i have tried almost everything but it just wont work while other people unlock it by accident. but this is really the only problem i have with the game. so i really hope they fix this problem.
