Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.29/day in the week to Aug 23 → 4.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
As the once-great Roman Empire falls into decadence and decay, you lead a small band of citizens in search of new lands hoping to build Nova Roma – a bastion for all that was once good in the Empire. Starting from a humble village, you must appease the gods with grand temples, sate your citizens’ many needs, and build a society that will be the envy of the world for millennia to come.

A wise city planner knows how to harness the world around them. Erect massive dams and aqueducts to control the flow of water as you reshape the land into artificial watersheds and reservoirs, paying close attention to how your actions impact soil fertility, or how a particularly rainy season might flood your city. Seek distant resource deposits and build infrastructure to transport raw materials and processed goods across massive stretches of untamed territory. Will you strike a delicate balance between the growing urban sprawl of your city and the risks of rapid expansion? Or will your hubris risk the wrath of the gods and nature itself?

Contend with a growing list of needs and desires as more people flock to your city – from pottery and wine to bread and games, it is your responsibility to keep the people happy and safe. Watch them grow into artisans, gladiators and thespians, and guide them through life as they spend their days toiling, and their nights enjoying the fruits of their labor.

As you consider matters of taxation and technological advancement, do not forget the powers that stand above you - build grand temples to the gods, avoiding their wrath and seeking their blessings to bolster your capabilities and ensure the continued prosperity of Nova Roma.
Featuring intricate water and weather simulations and the ever-present threat of divine intervention, Nova Roma explores the cultural, and social trials of the era. Take charge of your small Roman town and grow it into a bustling metropolis that will stand the test of time!
Sums Steam only; GOG, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Fun city builder for ancient Rome, started to get some lag once my city reached 1 to 1.5k pop
SImiliar to past games, great gameplay, love to see where its headed, worth the pre-buy
Super mechaniky, baví mě to. Doufám, že časem bude tech tree mnohem větší.
esta muy bien pero le falta algo aun
This game was a black hole of my time. I enjoy city building games but don't like that they all end up looking like a modern skyline. The concept of using ancient technology constraints is fun. Droughts are probably the most annoying so far but I enjoy the challenge, especially when one irrigation channel hogs all the water so the rest dry up and half the city doesn't have water access... The god Vulcan does get easily annoyed which probably makes sense? I can't tell how I feel about the gods interactions yet. It doesn't feel like it adds much to the game, at the same time not sure how much I would want them to impact the city building. I was imagining a group being sent off on a ship to find goods or something like a new statue and getting blessings from gods can help or hinder. The pathing can be funny, I watched them take a shorter route wading through water even though I built a bridge, but who am I to deny them a quick swim. I look forward to the updates and seeing what happens to this game!
Its good, fun and I like it but I don't like that the triremes cant attack enemy triremes (add the feature and i'll uptate the reveiw)
