No More Heroes

Coming from someone who only watches No More Heroes boss fights on Youtube, the actual gameplay is very basic and surface-level, but the style makes up for it. The bloody visual effects, the cel-shaded Wii graphics, and satisfying sound effects as you decapitate and bisects goons left and right feels so freaking good. The boss fights also felt fair (except for Shinobu, ♥♥♥♥ that girl), and everything you died to is by your own fault. Played the game twice, once on Mild and again on Bitter, only died 5 times on Mild and never on Bitter; 3 times to Shinobu's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, one time to Speed Buster cuz I didn't know about her last gimmick, and one time to the final boss cuz I forgot that they're a martial artist and I wasn't supposed to grab them. The open world, although empty, feels very intentional with everything it has to offer. You weren't supposed to soak in all of Santa Destroy (cuz let's be real, it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥), but to use everything it has to offer to pay for your entry fee for your next boss fight and strengthen yourself. I thought the part-time jobs would be my least favorite part of the game, but it's not as obnoxious as I thought. You can easily Gold rank every job if you have two functioning brain cells (and get the dash upgrade for the grafitti job), and completing them unlocks Assassination Missions, which are more fun (except AM 19, ♥♥♥♥ that mission). My only gripe with this game is that it crashes every 30 minutes, so save your game often if you plan on picking this game up.

I forgot about this game and played Persona for the hundredth time, but yea its a good game

같은 디렉터의 killer is dead를 하고 디렉터 취향이 맘에 들어서 하게 된 게임. 예전부터 독특한 게임이라 간간히 듣기는 했지만 직접 하기는 처음. 스토리는 단순히 주인공이 암살자 협회의 1위 암살자가 되기 위해 싸우는 게임. 하지만 주인공을 비롯한 주요 캐릭터들이 반쯤 돌아있어 그들의 특색을 보는것도 재밌다. 전투는 생각보다 좋았음. 기본적을 공격으로 마무리하면 QTE처럼 방향입력 하는게 있는데 방향을 맞추면 참수를 해버리는 호쾌한 액션이 나옴. 레슬링 피니쉬들도 시원시원해서 좋았음. 저스트 가드나 저스트 회피가 있긴한데 후반부 가서야 제대로 썼음. 사실상 보스전에서는 안쓰면 힘든 기술들임. 엔딩은 진엔딩기준으로 봐도 좋게 말하든 나쁘게 말하는 골때리는 엔딩. 하지만 이상하게 후속작이 끌린다.

This is the first Suda 51 game I have played and I have to say that this game definetly lives up to its name, so if your the type of person who gets pissed off as soon as anything doesn't make sense or isn't rational then this game isn't for you. If you enjoy games with funny or wacky moments like Dmc then this game definetly is for you. (Note: This game takes that to the max though, but still manages to make it seem believable most of the time which is commendable) I cannot say that you should 100% buy this though because of this PC port. It definetly is playable, but the resolution seems capped at 720p, you don't really have any graphical options exept for Anti Aliasing and the game is known for crashing (it did crash a lot for me at the beginning but it stopped later on, I did lose progress at times but the worst I ever got was like 20 minutes being gone once). I also had to face an issue that took me two hours to fix before I could even play the game which was that the game had progressive line scans and a blue tint, which users blame on the game using integrated graphics, although I only have a dedicated graphics card, and the issue was that the game needs to run on Vulkan, so you can find the fix online, its pretty simple but still a pain in the ass.

After fighting the first boss and Travis went to the toilet in Motel to save the game, it suddenly crashed. Does anyone have the same issue?
