Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Combat in this game is absolutely addictive and this would probably be my main game for the next few months, BUT the performance of this game is abysmal. If you have a high-end PC, don't care about performance, are willing to install mods, and/or just have confidence in your ability to troubleshoot and optimize games, give it a shot I guess. The gameplay itself is fantastic. If you are an average PC gamer who doesn't own a $2000+ rig, has to look up how to optimize games and you care about performance, do not bother.
I personally think many aspects are Nioh 3 are straight downgrades to Nioh 2 which sits as one of my favorite games of all time. The open world works worse than the more linear level design of 2, a large part of the content ends up being recycled from the earlier games, Ninja style is fun occasionally but is little more than a simplified moveset for players who find the Samurai style too hard, the weapon's available are vastly inferior to the offering in the 2 and many open world activities are quite boring. Even despite this, it's not enough on it's own for me to not recommend this game, so why the negative review? I happen to be fortunate enough to be able to afford a higher end PC, yet there is nothing here to warrant the absolute horrible performance this game has. You repeatedly see people with mid-range PC's having great trouble running this game at a reasonable framerate, yet there is nothing here which should warrant that, the game even straight up looks worse than Nioh 2 at times. Every Team Ninja game after Nioh 2 has had enormous performance issues which they seem entirely unwilling to fix. For example, Stranger of Paradise has performance problems tied to shadows, one of the community recommended fixes for this is REMOVING THE HAIR FROM ALL PARTY MEMBERS. While your new bald party will let you cruise at slightly higher FPS anything with debris or particle will still hit your framerate like a cruise missile. These problems, (or at least variations of them) exist in Stranger of Paradise, Wo Long, Rise of the Ronin, Ninja Gaiden 2 black, Nioh 3, probably the Atelier game (I have not played enough Fatal Frame 2 remake to comment) even though these game seem to look worse and worse (keep in mind I am not talking about artistic presentation here but texture quality/lighting). At what point should it be insulting to sell 80€ games in this state? I haven't had the time to play the DLC yet and with the reviews I'm unsure if I will, but supposedly it somehow makes the performance even worse. While there might some deep extremely technical reason for this, they are still struggling with the same issues since Nioh 2 (Nioh 2 also had problems tied to effects but these were minimal in comparasion and could be alleviated with changing settings). At what point is it fair to simply call this negligence?

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 6: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best JP #64, worst CN #94 · 6 markets collected
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 11.71/day in the week to Jul 30 → 12.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

doesn't feel as good nioh 2 some weapons get absolutely shafted by the ninja samurai split terrible performance
O Nioh de sempre mas em mundo aberto, ficou muito bom, Recomendo.
Overall, the game falls well short of expectations. Pros: * Interesting setting inspired by Japanese folklore. Cons: * Low FPS in every area, regardless of graphics settings. * Repetitive, uninspired boss fights. * Aggressive texture pop-in that can hide enemies until they're right in front of you. * Yokai Talismans load so slowly that summons often appear after the fight is over. * Quick travel is unreliable and can freeze the game, forcing an **Alt+F4**. * Misleading Polish localisation — only a handful of achievements are translated, while the game itself remains in English. I wanted to like this game, but the technical issues and lacklustre gameplay make it difficult to recommend in its current state.
Fck Koei Tecmo. We are already at the first DLC and they have done absolutely nothing to optimize this mess. Game is great but don't bother giving these scumbags your money if they're not even gonna bother making the game playable for your rig.
Shorter Review: >If you like Nioh series ur gonna like this one. >It's like Code vein 1 they turned it into Open World but it isn't bad, it's basically divided with levels so u don't die like a dumass go-ing into high ass areas. >The issue is, it heavily HEAVILY screams at you to, IGNORE EVERYTHING SKIP EVERYTHING and just SPEEDRUN to NG++, I know the former games does this too for Divine NG+ but man it does NOT want me to enjoy the world. >Some map areas or places in the world are so damn boring and dull, it genuinely just pisses me off to be on some areas. >Despite not looking like an upgrade from Nioh 2 graphically, it's hella laggy and badly optimized. It genuinely is baffling, like If you can't optimize it as Nioh 2, you can just cut off the open world aspect and make it separate level maps just like you did on the first 2 games, cuz the open world aspect of this game isn't that immersive anyways. >Finally, I won't recommend to buy this game at full price cuz it genuinely is an absolute unoptimized mess, given at higher level you're gonna be farming an area full of enemies and farming loot dropping so much, it's gonna be annoying to play at 30 fps while speedrunning maps. *I almost forgot, don't buy the DLC unless on sale 50% off cuz holy hell it's bad, the DLC of Nioh 1 & 2 are genuinely God tier 10./10 dlc but this? it's a 4/10 lol. also wild it makes your PC laggier if you install the DLC.
I unfortunately cannot recommend what is an incredible entry in my favorite franchise. Months and months of patches and there has been no effort from the developers to improve the worst performing game of 2026. I tried first to play on my main couch rig with Bazzite/AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D/AMD RX 9070 XT on a 4K TV. After weeks of fiddling with game and system settings, I gave up and decided it is unplayable via proton. Most of the first era is playable, but immediately upon entering the snowy region the engine crawls to a halt. I don't mind frame issues in most games, but the way Nioh 3's engine works makes performance drops painful. You'll be getting ready to deflect an incoming attack, only for a stutter to happen that slows the game to a crawl, making you miss the parry window. I eventually gave up and moved over to my development rig to play. That's Windows 11/AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D/RTX 4070 on a 1440p monitor. On my Windows machine I can at least get the game back to a playable state. Even so it takes lots of config tweaking to get the game to maintain a stable frame rate. That stability is required to play the game, the tougher bosses cannot be defeated without consistent performance. It saddens me to have to write that part of the review up front. There is so much positive I want to review about the gameplay. Especially as the step from Nioh 2 to Nioh 3. I love nearly everything about the actual game. Such a shame that most people won't even get to the point of playing given how incredibly broken the the engine is. The highlight is the split between ninja and samurai gear sets. It forces you to use a variety of playstyles and gear, as certain bosses are weaker to one style or another. The open world is fun, but I enjoyed the arcade style of levels in Nioh 1 and 2, so that isn't a huge plus for me. There are lots of little checklist items you can do around the map. It is fun to be poking around only to stumble across a major boss from the first two games wandering the woods or plains.
No performance fix 5 months after release and they're about to drop a DLC... Sad to see the series go down like this. Pitiful.
