Не лучшая версия лучшего слешера в истории. Хотя со сборкой модов играется и выглядит оно практически идентично оригиналу с xbox 360. Спасибо руководству вот этого парня -=$IR0Q=-
Check my Ninja Gaiden Sigma Review for a little "prologue". Keeping it short here. Just saying, I am on a Ninja Gaiden journey and now finished Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. 24/41 Achievements, took me ~12 hours to complete on Hard. So yeah, I significantly liked Sigma 2 better than 1. Of course better graphics since it came out later, so that's a plus. Music was way better than the first and combat felt really, really good this time around. There were a few camera hiccups here and there, but overall also much better than Sigma 1. The movement felt better and everything felt snappier. Do I wish that there was more blood? Sure. Did it distract me? No, not really, since - as I said - combat felt really good. Story and dialogue again was pretty trashy but it had some "lol moments" in a few cutscenes. The levels were much more varied as were the setpieces and thus not as boring. Also it is really linear which I liked. I have to admit, it was much easier than NG Sigma as well. Sigma I played on normal (no problems there at all for a first time player) and Sigma 2 I instantly started on hard. But it was still easier than Sigma 1 on normal. Overall I can say there was little that annoyed me (nitpicking would be the horrible underwater effect for example) and I had actually way more fun playing this than Sigma 1... So now on to NG 3 Razor's Edge - which apparently everyone hated... Oh yeah and since I gave Sigma 1 a 6.5/10, this gets a good 7.9/10 if you want to slap a number on it... P.S.: Even though I liked this Game more, still not playing all the extra modes or again on even harder difficulties.
крайне не рекомендуется для жителей России, т.к к поседневным мучениям прибавится еще камера этой 6лядской в ж0пу вые6аной игры

I may not have the most time on the Steam version, but considering I own this on PS3/PS4 and I've played through NGII on Xbox countless times, I feel like I have enough credibility to review this properly. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, while not the best version, still stands as a fun and accessible way for PC players to try out the Ninja Gaiden franchise. There are so many things in this game that will keep you coming back for more hack and slash fun. Each difficulty level brings a new challenges for the player, weapons have combos and moves for you to learn and try out on different encounters, and Chapter Challenge + Mission Mode + Ninja Race are fun extra modes that you can sink plenty of time into outside of the main story. I give it an 8.3/10, great game, and still a Ninja Gaiden game so it will be fun regardless of the version. There are some things that bring me back to the original Xbox 360 version over this one however. I do want to buy Ninja Gaiden 2 Black for the pretty graphics, but my view of it has soured since Team Ninja does not want to properly implement all that they did not bother to add back from the original NGII, as NG2B is almost 1:1 the Sigma version of 2. For a comprehensive list of differences between Sigma and NGII vanilla, refer to the list below. Balancing: - As this was originally a PS3 port, Tecmo/Team Ninja re-scaled the amount of enemies appearing on screen in many of the combat encounters. Thus leading to a balancing readjustment for enemy health with higher health values per enemy. They did this as the PS3 was allegedly "too weak" to run NGII vanilla. I don't mind it on the lower difficulties but as you go up, it can become rather annoying to constantly keep whacking enemies with minimal feedback. Enemy behavior has changed drastically from vanilla to Sigma as well. I believe most of the combatants you fight are just more docile, whether it be your weaker enemies to the bosses. Boss Additions & Removals: - So this version of the game is notorious for inserting new bosses into levels. Whether that be on top of other bosses already in the level, or straight up replacing certain boss fights entirely. For example, in chapter 1,
on top of the Shadow Ninja Rasetsu boss fight, you will be tasked with fighting a massive Buddha Statue that appeared earlier as a boss as well. In chapter 4 after defeating Alexei, you will fight the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ statue of liberty lmao. Last but not least, the double armadillo fight in chapter 15 (Quickening Devastation for those who only played vanilla) has been replaced by a fight with Mr. Marbus. Not a hot take but I would much rather fight Marbus than those armadillos cause that fight sucked
. Those are just some of the changes that have been made to bosses. There are at least a handful more that I haven't mentioned. Overall, it depends on the encounter how I feel, as I do enjoy a fair amount of the boss encounter changes. Gameplay/Weapon Additions and Removals: - The differences for weapons mainly lies within projectile weapons. For one, in Sigma 2 bows are just shot like normal projectiles with a fixed damage value for quick firing and aiming. Bow ammo is infinite in Sigma 2. In Xbox NGII, bows have a unique charging animation to power up projectiles, at the cost of limited ammo however. This charging technique is akin to an ultimate technique with 2 levels of charge power. Bows may still be quick-fired. The bow in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 may not be unequipped from Ryu's back as it is a permanent fixture. Small thing I know, but I enjoy having that option to see his back again. - Continuing with projectile weapons, Sigma 2 has an exclusive projectile weapon in the Howling Cannon. Xbox NGII featured more options for the player to use. Gatling gun (for underwater ne'er do wells), incendiary shuriken, and the windmill shuriken. I really miss having the windmill shuriken, it gained an ultimate technique charge in NGII as well so it became even more powerful. - Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 introduces a new melee weapon not featured in NGII, the greatsword Enma's Fang. It behaves similarly to the Dabilahro from Ninja Gaiden 1. I wouldn't say it is worth the tradeoff of having more projectile weapons. - Key items that were used to access certain areas and doors in the Xbox version are now gone in favor of automatically opened doors. As well as certain areas being cut that may have been related to said key items. - Chapter 2 takes place during the day instead of night now. - Those stupid water squid bomb things were removed entirely and shadow fiends were added as a new ground unit. - Tests of Valor were small combat challenges that appeared throughout the Xbox version to challenge the player with an onslaught of enemies. Upon completion, the player would be granted various items as rewards. Now absent in every later iteration of NG2. - Items are now used differently. Essence can no longer be used to upgrade weapons at will. If you want to upgrade every weapon in a new playthrough to the max, you must choose what weapons -
the Dragon Sword and the Dragon's Claw & Tiger's Fang
- to upgrade or not. - On top of essence, health expansion items such as the Life of the Gods/Lives of the Thousand Gods used to function as healing items to be used at will. They now are used automatically upon pickup. So yeah more limited player agency on weapon upgrades and healing. However, the game is easy enough that you probably won't need it. - Chapter Challenge is what replaced New Game Plus from the original. I think it is cool, but they could have also just kept NG+ for those who wanna play through without interruptions. - 3 new missions featuring supporting characters Momiji, Rachel, and Ayane help to enhance and change the story of Ninja Gaiden 2. On repeat playthroughs, I find this addition to be frustrating. It sort of tampers with the pacing, which is another point to the original. - Costumes are somewhat different from the original. In the original, Ryu had 4 the Black Falcon, Shadow Walker, Biometal, and Fiend armor sets. Each one of these had different color variants to them, with the Black Falcon variants being unlocked through difficulty completions, and the latter 3 being purchasable DLC content. In Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Shadow Walker and Biometal Hayabusa are both not present. Instead, we have more individual unique costumes with single color options. Those being the aforementioned Black Falcon and Fiend suits returning, as well as Doppelganger, Traditional Dark Blue, Sigma 2, Choun Shiryu, and the Dead or Alive throwback. Outside of Black Falcon and Sigma 2, the additional costumes may be unlocked through gameplay accomplishments and goals. Honestly, with the variation of Sigma 2 and the color palette options of Xbox NGII, you can't go wrong either way. Other Nitpicks: - I hate that they used the low resolution health bar of the Sigma 2 PS Vita version. I get that it is based off of it to some degree but man they could've at least ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tried a little harder lol. The dragon claw design of the Xbox version or even the PS3 version would've been acceptable.
