its sooooo good of a game
muy bueno
Check my Ninja Gaiden Sigma Review for a little "prologue". Keeping it short here. Just saying, I am on a Ninja Gaiden journey and now finished Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. 24/41 Achievements, took me ~12 hours to complete on Hard. So yeah, I significantly liked Sigma 2 better than 1. Of course better graphics since it came out later, so that's a plus. Music was way better than the first and combat felt really, really good this time around. There were a few camera hiccups here and there, but overall also much better than Sigma 1. The movement felt better and everything felt snappier. Do I wish that there was more blood? Sure. Did it distract me? No, not really, since - as I said - combat felt really good. Story and dialogue again was pretty trashy but it had some "lol moments" in a few cutscenes. The levels were much more varied as were the setpieces and thus not as boring. Also it is really linear which I liked. I have to admit, it was much easier than NG Sigma as well. Sigma I played on normal (no problems there at all for a first time player) and Sigma 2 I instantly started on hard. But it was still easier than Sigma 1 on normal. Overall I can say there was little that annoyed me (nitpicking would be the horrible underwater effect for example) and I had actually way more fun playing this than Sigma 1... So now on to NG 3 Razor's Edge - which apparently everyone hated... Oh yeah and since I gave Sigma 1 a 6.5/10, this gets a good 7.9/10 if you want to slap a number on it... P.S.: Even though I liked this Game more, still not playing all the extra modes or again on even harder difficulties.
It's a good continuation from the last game
nice old skool ninja game
never have I felt so powerful as I have with those vigoorian flails spinning at 600rpm, 10/10
I love this franchise
I like the first game, but I think I like this sequel way more than the first game. It has better map design with better story also, while the combat is still fluid and fun.
