I felt kind of "meh" about this game playing it on the standard difficulty and was ready to drop it until I was reminded that there's an easier difficulty below that - so I dropped the difficulty down and very quickly found that I actually *hate* the late-game encounter design. There are multiple fights where I have no idea how I'm supposed to move the flower fast enough to avoid massive, swinging melee hitboxes, the number of moving parts makes it increasingly difficult to actually parse where each of my guys are (and sometimes even which is which, something which had not happened to me at all prior to that), and finding windows to actually attack becomes increasingly rare and frustrating. I spent minutes on the beetle-like boss with the long legs and huge pincers, not at risk of failure, but completely unable to land a solid hit because the wasp kept bouncing off the side of the arena, running into the boss's pincers, and being forced to recharge - or! the boss would start doing a bullet curtain attack and I would immediately need to reposition the wasp in front of the flower and blow any chance of getting an attack in. Later in that run, I ultimately died only a hit or two away from beating the last boss after constantly taking hits I could not possibly avoid and was so profoundly irritated that I instantly closed the game. I'm not feelin it.
the process of playing this game is so cool. the atmosphere helps as well. nice stuff
This game is gorgeous, and has some really neat synergistic design concepts, but it's really absurdly hard, with no way to make it easier (you only unlock harder difficulties). I think that's a fine thing if you want to present your game as an experience that can be challenged and overcome, but it doesn't really make it accessible to outsiders in any way. Also, if you suffer from epilepsy or flashing light sensitivity, steer clear of this one. 6/10, cool art game that's also tough, not for everybody.
"это называется - bad trip" игра прикольная, но только если получится найти людей, которые смогут разобраться с тем, что здесь ♥♥♥♥♥ происходит, а ещё лучше, если эти друзья не из интернета, т.к. всякие remote play с их сверхгалактической задержкой и шедевробитрейтом перегибают всех и вся
The visuals and sounds seem cool which is why i gave the game a try, but they're over-stimulating and make the game too frustrating for me
Fantastic arcade style game with great art for bug fans. Perfect for partners; local co-op with two controllers is some of the most fun I have had with my partner in a game. Very romantic too, with the Wasp and Flower! Solo game play is dynamic and interesting, but not too complicated. The art direction is good with well themed levels and bugs!
i only play this game for 10 minutes once every month cus otherwise my head starts hurting. but it's a good game to stream for your friends when they don't know what the hell's going on, and it's pretty fun anyway !!
почувствую себя жуком под шмалью рекомендую
