Ni no Kuni™ II: Revenant Kingdom

This is my 2nd playthrough of the game after having finished it on the Switch. Definitely not my favorite JRPG, but it's cozy and I enjoy the side quests to recruit citizens for the kingdom. This is a good JRPG, maybe even great. The combat could be more fun (prepare to be staggered over and over by the enemies) but I still enjoy all aspects of the game. Solid 7/10.

Haven't gotten around to finishing it yet but it's a relaxing and enjoyable game. It's like Suikoden and Star Ocean had a child that was rated E, but also it had graphics like Dark Cloud 2/Dark Chronicle.

I love the art style. It's basically if Ghibli made a game. I think it would be a great multiplayer game if that were possible.

This game has the dumbest story I've ever seen in a video game. You think it's bad while there are mouse people (literally humanoid mice) that are led by a humanoid mouse called Mausinger (for extra cringe). But then the President of the United States, after having been magically teleported to this fever dream of a dimension as his country is being nuked, suddenly decides to stay in the weird, magical land (called Ding Dong Dell btw. like wtf. That's actually the name of the realm in which the game takes place). And why does the President of the United States abandon his country as it's facing direct attack with weapons of mass destruction? The closest we get to an explanation during the scene where he declares that he's staying is 'to be with you, Evan' (Evan being the young boy). I don't know what kind of man/boy love BS is going on in this game that would convince the President to abandon his country after only a few hours with this young boy, but it is bona fide weird and I don't like it. I've finished the first chapter of the story and the entire chapter was wall to wall cringe. Very much do not recommend.

Juego de rol con combates en tiempo real, pero cierto componente táctico. La historia es del montón, la parte de gestión esta bien, hay mucha variedad y tiene gran cantidad de contenido opcional. Lo peor es la interfaz, que es bastante lenta, y si quieres fabricar muchas cosas o hacer muchas mejoras, se hace muy tedioso. Por cierto, no tiene ningún parecido con el primer Ni No Kuni mas allá de la parte gráfica.

The town management and city building is so unnecessary. It killed the fun for me and some Sidequest require items from the town management city building BS. 5/10, dropped at Mausinger boss fight after coming back from putting the game on hold for a long time.

Из всех JRPG - эта самая дружелюбная к новому игроку. Динамичная боевая система где можно сделать уклон в понравившийся стиль. Красочный мир на 50-100+ часов контента. Минус этого контента в его однотипности в каком то смысле. Сюжет хоть и детский, но и взрослой личности понравится. Под конец выбесил гринд, чтобы добить главного босса. Игра даже на самой низкой сложности из-за левелинга может выбесить в некоторых моментах, крайне не рекомендую тыкать сложность выше обычного, так что игра уж точно не для детей 5 лет с геймплейной точки зрения. P.S Не игнорируйте развитие королевства.
