About
January 1st, 1981 - The Republic of Valdoria
As anti-government protests tear through every corner of President Harlan's regime, the Morven Pandemic erupts without warning claiming 200,000 lives in its first 21 days.
Dirty Ledgers
After six years of unemployment, you've finally landed a government post: checkpoint officer at the nation's first and only safe zone. Your only escape from your stepfather's house is to survive 26 days on the job. But playing by the book isn't always enough. To stay alive, will you stand against corruption or become another cog in its machine?
Your Morals, Your Story
No matter how well you do your job, the moral choices will find you. Will you pull strings for a bureaucrat's nephew while an innocent woman is sent back to the husband who'll kill her? Or will you do the opposite? How your story ends is up to you.
The Harlan Regime, the Protesters, Your Family, and the Morven Pandemic
To make sense of it all, listen to the conspiracy theories whispered by the citizens at your window. You'll never know which ones are true. What you believe shapes your choices and your choices shape your fate.
Small Choices, Seismic Consequences
Every action is yours to make. But every choice costs something. Play it safe or go radical. A single nuance can topple a government or land you behind bars.

Reviews
It's an okay game, especially for the low price (especially since I got it on sale), but I still wouldn't really recommend it. I wish there was a neutral rating... I had to double-check if this was still in early access or not. It ended very abruptly after 28 days or so (I didn't really pay attention to the exact day, but it was somewhere around one month), without reason, I didn't run out of money, lose my job or anything. Maybe I just reached the end of the playable story. Instead of finishing to tell the story via newspaper, letters and people visitng, it just ended in some pictures + text explaining the remaining story. What I found weird as well, was that some criteria kept being there, but were never a problem except the first few days after they appeared. At some point I was tempted to just not check anymore, but probably that would have been the point when it actually failed, so I kept checking... Would also have been nice to see more easily which criteria changed day by day, instead of having to go through the whole list again every time and then maybe finding out nothing changed.
This is such a good game; it is very similar to Paper Please, but you're at a medical checkpoint. Very relaxing and entertaining game. What I would like to point out is how the dev wants and listens to feedback; this person cares about their game and audience. I will definitely be buying games from this dev again. Thank you and keep up the good work.

I watched a streamer friend play this game first, then decided to buy it myself. I can honestly say the concept is really well executed. I wanted to write a detailed review for people who are considering buying it. What I liked: 1. If you enjoy games like Papers, Please, this is one of the most content-rich games released recently in that syle. 2. We spend most of the game sitting behind a desk, but we are actually part of a deepening story. More importantly, our actions directly influence what happens. 3. You can interact with almost every character. I also feel like the responses you choose indirectly affect the outcome, which makes the details more meaningful. 4. While playing, many events are not shown directly on screen, but you imagine them in your head. It gives a feeling similar to reading a good book. 5. The price-to-quality ratio is very good. I think the pricing is fair, though honestly it could even be slightly higher. 6. The mechanics are simple and comfortable to use. Even stamping documents feels surprisingly satisfying. Things that could be improved: 1. Some additional visual effects could make the game even better, though I'm not sure how much that would affect the overall atmosphere. 2. Starting a second playthrough takes a bit too long because of having to talk to Karen again. 3. The age calculations require a lot of attention. They could have been made a little easier. 4. It's very difficult to enter the alternate universe where the government changes, and I still don't fully understand how it works. I only noticed it through the achievements. I don't think an average player like me could realistically experience that route, which means missing out on part of the game. These are just my personal opinions, of course. Everyone may experience the game differently.
My girlfriend recommended this game to me, but since I’m currently in exam season I sadly couldn’t play it as much as I wanted. Even so, I already became really curious about seeing the longterm consequences of my decisions and how each person you let through can completely change the atmosphere of the story. I also like how the game mixes tension, mystery, and emotional moments without overdoing it. It has that “just one more day” feeling where you keep wanting to see what happens next and whether you made the right choices.
