For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I have to leave a negative review because i simply cannot beat the game. The game has severe bugs one bug is that the enemies will stop dropping ammo or you cannot pick it up i had to beat the third and fourth levels with no ammo and rely on fury mode. The boss finally dropped ammo but on the fifth level i kept getting stuck on a ladder in slime and could not climb it. The art is great music and quips are fun but with the core game being so buggy i have to give it a thumbs down. I would leave a mixed option if possible i will revise it definitely if it gets fixed as it has potential.

Great aesthetic, and the vocal quips are top notch. I also enjoy the visual references to classic gaming (Duke, Sonic, and more!). It has an addictive quality that makes for willing map replays. But... It's buggy. Enemies can shoot through walls. Enemy AI is dumb as stone. Clunky control makes for artificial difficulty. Keybinds have to be consistently rebound. Hand-to-hand combat seems sluggish. I bought it on sale, and I'm hoping that some of this nonsense can be patched out. If I could refund this purchase, I would. I think I hate this game. Revision (6 additional hours of play): Okay, so I wasn't playing it right. I was committed to working my way through what's here, and I feel a little bit differently. It's more fun than I had initially indicated, and I have to admit that I've enjoyed returning to the game. But... The more you play, the more bugs you will find. There are holes in the floors of some of these maps (the first and the final being the most egregious), and the penultimate map doesn't even seem finished. In my experience, some weapons fail to fire in rage mode (shotgun, laser ray). I still find the gameplay sluggish at times, but I also recognize that I was originally playing like a bonehead... I still wouldn't recommend, but I would no longer say I hate it. With some polish, I think this could be so much better.
Love the art direction of this game, but after level 2 or 3 it basically just becomes a punching simulator until you unlock a new weapon, use all the ammo for that, run out, then back to punching. The punching doesn't even feel good. This game has so much potential, but when there's literally no possible way to get ammo in a FIRST PERSON SHOOTER, then there's a problem. If you wanna play a comic book art style shooter, play Forgive Me Father 1 & 2, Void Bastards & Wild Bastards. ALL FAR superior games that actually let you shoot your enemies in a first person SHOOTER.
Looked fun and up my alley. After an hour losing on normal and easy first chapter, I was wrong. Expected Forgive Me Father and Dread Templar (boh Fulqrum titles), instead minimal ammo and slow punch/kick attack speed that leaves me forced to crawl more than kick some ass like the trailer made it seem. Felt like a slog the entire hour I played and had no interest in finishing.
The game’s art and gameplay style are very enjoyable, offering a nostalgic nod to classic boomer shooters. However, technical issues hold it back. Audio balance is off, with some sounds far too loud, and I frequently encountered glitches, including falling out of the map. Performance also suffered during intense action, with noticeable frame rate drops during boss fights. While the game shows great potential, these bugs and performance issues hinder the overall experience. With more polish, it could be a good game, but for now, it feels like a promising project in need of refinement.
Extremely rough in every way. Melee lacks any impact, guns feel bad, level design is uninspired. Not worth playing anymore.
Warning: in its current state, "Chains of Fury" is not just bad. For me, it is effectively unplayable. As far as I understand, the game was released unfinished because of a conflict between the publisher and the developer. At this point, it also looks like the game is no longer supported, so I would not expect any major fixes. YouTube videos show that the game can technically be completed. In my case, it cannot. Judging by recent reviews and forum posts, similar issues are affecting other players as well. The main critical bug is the complete absence of ammunition drops. At first, I played for a while without even realizing that something was broken. Then I started getting suspicious, checked some YouTube walkthroughs, and saw that enemies were supposed to drop ammo. In my game, they do not drop any ammo at all. I even tried switching to easy difficulty, thinking that maybe it was tied to the difficulty setting. It changed nothing. In theory, regular enemies can be killed with brass knuckles. This requires abusing save-load, but it can work because the enemies are incredibly stupid and not very aggressive. You can kite them by hitting, stepping back, and repeating the process. Bosses can be dealt with using Fury mode. But the fact that a shooter has to be played with fists because of a broken ammo system is already enough to condemn the game. Since the game is short and the bug makes normal play impossible, I decided to rush through it using Cheat Engine for infinite ammunition, just to see the ending. The game did become more fun that way. And even then, I still could not finish it. The final boss in my game takes no damage, deals no damage, and does not even look like the boss shown in YouTube videos. As a result, the game is fundamentally impossible to complete in my case. Even if we ignore the critical bugs, "Chains of Fury" has serious problems almost everywhere. The visual concept is decent: comic book style, bloody brutality, retro shooter energy. In screenshots and trailers, it can look appealing. But the actual execution is poor. All enemies are flat 2D sprites, like in old games such as "Wolfenstein 3D" or "Doom", except without their clarity or polish. The animations are jerky, the frames are hard to read, and it is often difficult to tell whether an enemy is attacking or just walking back and forth. The enemies in those classic shooters are also smarter and more interesting. There are not many weapons, and in my opinion they are badly implemented. Shooting does not feel good. The crossbow feels more like a slingshot because of its strange ballistics. Enemies barely react to being hit, impact feels weak, and hit registration is often questionable. Hitboxes are another major issue. They are bad even in melee combat. Sometimes it feels like a hit clearly should have connected, but the game disagrees. Sometimes the opposite happens. In combat, this does not feel like deliberate retro design. It feels like a raw, poorly tuned prototype. On paper, the game has a potentially interesting chain mechanic. You are supposed to pull enemies toward yourself or pull yourself toward special hooks. In practice, it works inconsistently. I never understood why it sometimes works and sometimes does not. Maybe it is another bug, maybe it is just badly implemented, but using this mechanic reliably is impossible. There is also a problem with sound positioning. For some reason, sounds in front of and behind the player seem to be swapped. This creates additional cognitive load, because when you hear gunfire, you often have to turn away from the sound instead of toward it in order to find the enemy. In a shooter with confusing levels, this is especially unpleasant. The game has some metroidvania elements, and the levels are often nonlinear and confusing. The early levels are still somewhat playable: there are some decent locations, decorations, secrets, and Easter eggs referencing other games. But starting around level 5, the quality drops sharply. After that, the levels feel like they were generated without proper design: grey corridors, poor navigation, weak landmarks, confusing routes, and almost no interesting discoveries. Secrets and Easter eggs seem to disappear entirely. The penultimate level also runs terribly, which is not something I expected from a game that technically does not look far removed from games from the early 2000s. Another critical issue is the save-load system. After loading a save, items, doors, gates, and other level elements can return to their initial state. For example, there can be a lever that opens an indestructible gate. If you save after pressing the lever and then load that save, the lever remains pressed, but the gate is closed again. You cannot progress. Your only options are to load a much earlier save or restart the level. Even without save-loading, things are not reliable. Sometimes levers simply do not activate and doors do not open. It is fine when there is an alternative route. When there is not, you are left wondering whether progression is permanently broken or whether the game is just fighting the player again. There are also problems with collecting treasures. It feels like both the character and the item are treated almost like tiny physical points, so you have to stand very precisely on top of the object to pick it up. Otherwise, you simply walk past it. Sometimes enemies reappear in areas that have already been cleared. I am not sure whether this is intentional, but it looks like a bug. My guess is that enemies spawn through triggers, and because the game has metroidvania elements, you can sometimes enter the same location from different sides. Maybe touching those triggers from different directions causes enemies to spawn again. Even the menu and localization look unfinished. You can change the language in the settings, although language barely matters in this game because there is almost nothing to read. But even this system is broken. For example, when hovering over the "Close Menu" button, the text above it changes to "Zamknij Menu". When selecting difficulty, the description window shows the placeholder text "Lorem Ipsum" in every language instead of meaningful information. Steam achievements also look like placeholders. Completing a level on normal difficulty does not unlock the easy difficulty achievement. The conclusion is simple: even without the critical bugs, "Chains of Fury" is an extremely low-quality game. If the developer had not abandoned it, I think it would still have needed a very long time to reach an acceptable state. Do not be fooled by the nice trailer. The game may look like a stylish, bloody, brutal retro shooter, but in practice it is an unfinished and broken product that I could not complete. To be clear, I am not claiming that the critical bugs were added intentionally. I cannot prove that. But considering the reported conflict around the game, its current state, and the strange combination of issues, I cannot help suspecting that some of these problems may not be accidental, but something like a "Time Bomb". Maybe that is just conspiracy thinking on my part. But the fact remains: in its current state, I categorically do not recommend buying or playing "Chains of Fury".
Olmamış abicim bu oyun, vuruş hissiyatı sıfır, sesler sıfır düşman nereden geliyor nereden ateş ediyor algılamıyorsun, düşmanlar senin görür görmez sıkıyorlar açtığın kapıdan gelemiyorlar mal gibi bakıyorlar vs bir sürü olumsuz yönü var oyunun. Umarım ileride düzeltirler. https://youtu.be/oMJAhr0uv98
Has good premise, the art style is good, has a LOT of bugs, poorly optimised (the game runs very awkardly) or even localised (the UI buttons are in polish and the are 'Lorem Ipsum" placeholders everywhere). Needs a lot of fixing first.
