For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Some horror games try to scare you. Neverending Nightmares tries to understand you—and what it finds is terrifying. Neverending Nightmares is not a game about monsters hiding in the dark. It is a game about becoming the monster hidden within your own thoughts. Inspired by creator Matt Gilgenbach's personal struggles with depression and OCD, the experience feels less like playing a horror game and more like wandering through a wounded psyche that refuses to wake up. Every hallway stretches endlessly. Every door feels wrong. Every awakening is a lie. You play as Thomas, a fragile soul trapped within an endless cycle of nightmares, where reality dissolves into grotesque visions of grief, guilt, self-destruction, and despair. The game's haunting black-and-white art style resembles a sketchbook filled with intrusive thoughts, with blood-red details cutting through the monochrome world like open wounds. What makes Neverending Nightmares unforgettable is not its jump scares or grotesque imagery. It is the suffocating feeling that something is deeply broken inside you, and every step forward only leads deeper into the fracture. The game understands that true horror isn't the fear of dying—it's the fear of living with your own mind when it turns against you. The slow pace often feels deliberate, forcing you to absorb every disturbing detail. The silence becomes oppressive. The distant screams become familiar. The nightmares repeat, but never quite the same way, mirroring the obsessive cycles of anxiety and depression that inspired the game's creation. Its narrative refuses to provide easy answers. Instead, it leaves you lost among symbols, memories, and emotional scars. By the time the credits roll, you may not fully understand what happened—but you will remember how it felt. The unease lingers long after the screen fades to black. Even critics who found flaws in the gameplay admitted that the imagery and questions raised by the experience stayed with them long afterward. Neverending Nightmares is not entertainment in the traditional sense. It is an intimate confession disguised as a horror game. A journey through depression, guilt, self-hatred, and hopelessness. It asks players to confront the uncomfortable truth that the most terrifying place imaginable is not a haunted mansion, an abandoned asylum, or a cursed cemetery. It's the space between your own thoughts at three in the morning
The developer’s name already gives you a pretty good idea of the experience you are about to get: Infinitap Games, which apparently stands for “infinite corridors to explore with absolutely no content inside them”. For most of the game, you are forced to wander through corridors that all look the same, endless rooms, and dead ends that add basically nothing to the experience. After about half an hour of opening every single door like a real estate inspector on sedatives, I discovered that simply walking straight ahead lets you skip most dead ends and pointless corridor sequences while still reaching the end of the story. There are also frequent sudden FPS drops, which makes me suspect the optimization is not exactly doing miracles. For the record, you can check my PC specs below the review and confirm that I am not exactly playing on a potato with a power button. The story itself does not exactly scream masterpiece either. You can vaguely understand the general thread, but the constant drastic changes to the endings end up being more confusing than interesting, making you lose interest even in the little the game is trying to tell. The enemy chase sequences are also pretty weak: simple, not scary, and often predictable, because the game tends to warn you with objects or sounds that basically scream: “Hey, you are about to run or hide in a second”. One thing deserves credit, though: visually, the game has a genuinely strong impact. From that point of view, it looks very good and manages to create some impressive environments. Shame the rest does not hold up. Despite the strong visuals, I would never recommend playing it. Not even to my worst enemy, and I already have enough reasons to be cruel to him.
Spooky vibes. I liked the art style. Can get repetitive.
