Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4/day in the week to Aug 7 → 8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Neva is an atmospheric soft puzzle fight platformer with a special artstyle for casual gamers.

[th] Overall ★★★★★★★★☆☆ - 8/10 Music ★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆ - 5/10 Graphics ★★★★★★★★★☆ - 9/10 Gameplay ★★★★★★★★☆☆ - 8/10 Story ★★★★★★★★☆☆ - 8/10 [/th]

Difficulty ★★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆ (based on the normal difficulty) What did I like? * the visual artstyle and cutscenes are largely enhanced (compared to Gris) * again a silent narration of a grave topic * the game has the proper playtime lenght (about 8 hours with the DLC) * chapter select (can be used to get collectibles quicker) * the fight system needs you to stay focused but is easy enough to not interrupt the immersion by dying too often * there is a story mode difficulty for real casual gamers What did I not like? The game does not make it clear that the whole events are a flashback leading to the intro sequence. That was quite confusing. The DLC prologue then made it even worse for me when Alba said Neva at the end. Had to look it up to sort things out properly. Devs should really patch something in that makes this more clear to the players, like a short message telling 'one year earlier' before summer part 1 starts. While the music is good, it is just merely just supporting the story as needed (for example in the intro and outro), but does not stand out the rest of the game, supporting the whole narration only to a little degree. A missed chance, like in the former game Gris. The only thing this game didn't seemed to have evolved. Conclusion: Technically and from a gameplay point of view Neva is definitely better than Gris. Both use the same visual and narrative artstyle that makes Nomada games really stand out. Again it tells a beautiful story in a foreign world. A true jewel. If you like the artstyle and don't mind a shorter game, go for it.

“What the dog doin?” -Alba

Someone must have asked themselves, what if escort missions in other games instead of being boring and frustrating were fun and a way to drive the story forward? And Neva seems to be the result of that idea.
Gameplay
Platform a bit, fight a bit, mostly walk to the right, occasionally wait for, help, or get helped by your dog companion.
Story
Interpretative. You end your doggo vs scary spoopy masked people who want to make everything wither. Beyond this it’s completely up to your imagination. Is it about the cycle of life? Is it about drive vs stagnation? Is it about eating a succulent Chinese meal vs doomscrolling while under the blanket? Whoooooo knows you’ll have to come up with something yourself.
X-Factor
Wide, beautifully drawn pastel-style landscape shots and intuitive commands along relative ease of play makes this a title anyone can pick up and play. I liked how the game sets up the companion, at first it’ll feel like an escort mission, then she feels on equal footing, then you’ll feel like you’re getting escorted as the weaker party, it’s a nice spin on it.
Downsides
Some (very few actually) button inputs are lost, not too much of a negative but sometimes when combined with platforming sections that will kick you all the way to the beginning can be a little frustrating.

Short, generic, well-drawn, game that asks you 20$ for a 3-hour experience with no replay value. Has enough in the style department to be a good deal for half the price, or to anyone just starting out with games.
A little bit better than their previous game but just as pretentious. Also a couple of issues with hit boxes and being able to see your character at times.
