Foi de graça pai, passa nada e nem pode
After playing Neon Sun for just over an hour, I can truly say this barely qualifies as a game. The music is the only redeeming quality of it, and even that gets boring very quickly. The game claims that the farther along you go, the more difficult it becomes, and that is simply not true. To test it, I decided to see how far I could get just clicking on the tank option and collecting the crystals that randomly appear. I made it to level 100, and the only reason I didn't make it farther is that I realized the difficulty never changed after the first ~10ish levels, and I would be going forever, so I quit. Nothing changes, nothing improves, it's just a cool background, a nice 5 second clip of music on repeat, and a pitiful amount of effort.

There's not a lot to it. A little more effort and it might have made it to a thumbs up, but it just doesn't quiite get there. I think it needs other elements added to it before it's bringing value to the table for most customers. Some games manage to be minimalistic, and still make the minimalism work in the context of the experience. In this case it just comes across as low effort; they crossed the minimal threshhold for 'gameness', the absolute lowest bar, and just called it quits. Don't get me wrong there are nuances to the combat in terms of trying to optimise resource usage to build up a stockpile for future waves, so there's definitely something here that the devs could have built around, but beyond that it's really just the base of something that needs built upon before it's ready for a store-front. Art style isn't amazing, but passable, and the retro aesthetic gives it a little bit of uniqueness which was the main thing that made me buy it (when it was on sale). I dig the retro thing they have going on.
Good for achievements, good for themed achievements, bad if you want any serious gameplay, or more than some quick achievements, this wouldn't be what you're looking for. It's not the worst thing on steam, far from it, but it's not really worth the price unless you specifically want the achievements as a theme. It's worth it on sale if it's under a dollar. Bland, but playable, gets a pass from me. The plain saltless pasta of steam libraries.
