You play the role as the Master of a Trading Company, and your aim is to complete the World Map and tell the world what the "world" really is, via the help of the admirals you hire. Your sole decision to "Approve" or "Disapprove" is the key to shape the world!

I expected to like any game involving exploration and history, but found this title excruciating to play. I started with the tutorial, only to find that the tutorial goes on and on. Two hours in, and the game was still telling me how to do things. Not because there was so much information, but because there was so much silly chatter. I don't mind reading meaningful content in games, but almost all these screens struck me as a waste of time. So I was sitting there clicking for the better part of two hours. So I re-started, and declined the tutorial. But it turns out that you still have to go through almost all of what I would call tutorial material, mixed with screen after screen after screen of very low value text. I pointed this out on a forum, and was told that yes, this goes on for hours. I cannot vouch for that, because I then uninstalled the game. I would very much like a game where you explore the world and set up trading routes and level up admirals and so on. But apparently you have to sit and click through hours of banter before you are free to actually play such a game, and I for one am unwilling to do that. As to historical content, yes, there was a little. As far as I got, it struck me as bits and pieces of light trivia, and not enough to carry the game. But take away the screens of silly banter and it would have held a little interest.

Take out the forced narrative and terribly paced tutorial and this could have been an interesting trading and exploration game. Very disappointing how much of this on rails and thus completely opposite of what exploration should be about.
