Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Really fun game! Hard at times but very fun!

clunky repetitive and unrewarding. also overpriced buy on g2a for $2, actually dont even.
Constantly crashes, only good thing is that it saves character
Buy this game on sale, it's awesome! Lots of fun, lots of jank, lots of bugs. Just not $27 worth of a game. This game was abandoned before it could really be finished. Missing a good amount of balance, weapons, and the remnants of the Mage class can still be seen in the game before it could ever be implemented. And with the reception to the game's release and the subsequent release of Brutal edition it's likely that it will never be touched again by the development team.
Worst game I have ever played . - Worst gameplay experience - Empty game, the game is basically a hollow shell with original graphics, nothing more - IA too strong + infinite ennemies respawn - slow, slow and slowwwwwwwww too slowwwwww Even if the game was free, I would be bored after 2 minutes of playing it.. Buy anything else but never this game
Not the best or most exciting rougelite, but it is still fun. On major gripe is you cant change key bindings, which suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks
Game shows a lot of promise and does a lot of things well but many elements of it are clearly unfinished and never will be completed because it has been long abandoned.
ho don't do it... YAHH Oh My Gawd
$30? nah $10? nah $5? nah I paid a little over $2 for this game - I honestly can only recommend it for less than $5, as it's truly not worth anything more, in any regard; not even to support the devs (since they, you know, abandoned the game entirely less than a year into its launch, but kept the permanent $30 tag, nice). If you care to know why I say this, just continue - also, USE THE FLAMETHROWER. (Gameplay - Yeah, it's just janky Dark Souls/Bloodborne) Primary weapons - 4 move-sets. Knife - Sword - Greatsword - Club These four weapon types are all you'll be using - the only difference is each weapon type has unique properties, which range from useless to ridiculously broken, which sounds fun at first until you realize the useless are REALLY useless, thus having you overtly rely on the broken equipment, which brings us to: [SECONDARY WEAPONS] Not even going to mention the shield-bash abilities - they're all so horrible in their function & damage that there's really no need to mention them. Crossbow - Useless, takes only a sliver of stamina to use, but does far too little for what it takes to use/do. Wand - Better, definitely good for stunning certain enemies. Flamethrower? - Broken as all hell almighty. Takes at little as a Crossbow whilst doing FAR more damage than any weapon in the game outside of Tier 4 types which, still in comparison to the sheer DPS of the Flamethrower, don't stand even close to it: Best you'll get is an A-tier weapon, but the Flamethrower's an SS+ tier to give a vague idea/comparison. (Enemies/just Boss) This is probably my biggest issue with the game. The enemy variety, whilst there in the most basic sense, isn't a large enough cast to keep you invested, and isn't interesting enough gameplay-wise to keep you on your toes outside of the rare spider - They just chunk more health the further you go, which can work if the game has you scale with it, but if you don't, it becomes a game of turtling behind a high-stability shield for ages. Which brings me to... The 'Final Boss', or only boss, in the entire game. Please, if can't design a boss, or don't know how, don't add them to your game. The devs at Harebrained thought it'd be an amazing idea to finish your multiple hour grind of health-sponges with - a slow moving, 4 attack move-set, tank, that has no interesting aspect to it outside of 'here he is spawned around a dozen lil health-sponges that once dead, becomes a slow slog of grinding down his health until you get to the least climatic end to a game I think I've ever seen - They couldn't be bothered to add anything more to the final boss & ending of their game. No objectives to destroy, no weak-points to make it interesting/fun, just exactly what you've been doing, but much, unnecessarily, longer - and the payoff? The lore? The story? Absolutely not there. (Map) Procedural generation I have only ever seen done in two ways - One is genuine procedural generation in the regard that everything, even rooms, are generated; I have only ever seen this in Deep Rock Galactic. The second, is a cookie cutter, where you have pre-built pieces that you'll have the game organize into a random pattern, this can be seen in a game like Risk of Rain 2, and is the style you'll be seeing here. Big difference? Those games previously mentioned tend to have so many biomes that you're guaranteed in a normal run to never go to some of them, giving each play-through a unique feel. However, Necropolis doesn't have excessive biomes, in fact, it has just enough to fill the mere 9-stages of the entire game; so few levels, some feeling quite the same, and a couple being far too short/unvaried (swamps) make the game feel the same each play-through, defeating the entire purpose procedural generation is supposed to provide. (The Devs) There's not much to say, other than: Abandoning your game/community because the game didn't start as stellar as you'd initially wanted, isn't how you build trust nor loyalty in a community - this game could've been something to rival Risk of Rain in the indie scene, and hell, given the console ports, maybe even something more - and I genuinely mean that when I say it, as all the pieces are there, but Harebrained just didn't care enough to pick them up and finish what they'd started - but those chances are long gone, and all that remains is an unfinished game here, especially since Harebrained moved onto their Mech-Xcom ripoff (Battletech, WHICH THEY ALSO ABANDONED). P.S. If you REALLY do want to try the game, buy it on a major sale or third-party, and I can't help but recommend Necropolis Nexus mods - makes the experience WAY better, especially the combat.
