A potentially good game ruined by constantly respawning enemies. What a mind-boggling decision.
Nercomunda Hired Gun is broken! Boring Stat Chasing: The game forces a Borderlands-style, color-coded loot loop into a linear shooter, resulting in a tedious inventory management chore.Pointless Rarity: Weapon stats feel arbitrary, and finding a legendary" gun rarely changes how the weapon actually plays or performs. It would've been really cool if there was a Warhammer 40k game that plays like Doom Eternal! If Nercomunda Hired Gun 2 ever happens I would really hope for the sequel to be 10 times better than the first. These Finishing moves really are poorly animated! Even though Necromunda Hired Gun is not a good game and is extremely broken I hope there will be Nercomunda Hired Gun 2 one day!
Starts slow but picks up when you start buying some of your abilities. Always janky, Mostly fun.
Go watch MandaloreGaming's video on the game, then come back. This game works on Windows 11, and soft-locks have been patched. If your favorite media genre is Space Opera and you enjoy grindy looter shooters, then this is the game for you! No prior knowledge of 40K is required, but it helps.
A solid and fun FPS that's absolutely bananas at times. The scenery and atmosphere are stunning. The Streumon team really understand the Warhammer universe through and through.
its fun for what it is, but theres not much substance or gameplay value, i couldnt genuinely recommend this to anyone, its like an enshitified titanfall or other parkour shooter from that time frame
Excuse me Mr. John Warhammer, there's jank on my junk! Necromunda: Hired Gun is a very, very uneven title. Full of bugs, weird design choices... but it looks so cool. And the gameplay is actually fun... when you're not clipping through objects or get stuck in a ceiling. Loved playing through this one even if it had some issues. It's a looter shooter which isn't that long and that actually works in it's favor. You play as Thomas The War Engine and your mission is simple. As a mercenary you're going to take on many jobs. Some are optional, others are not. I'm not going to lie to you, I was content with just playing through the storyline and I got what I wanted from this game. Some mindless fun shooting with cool weapons, nice music and goofy enemies. Sometimes I don't need a 10 out of 10 title. Sometimes you just want to play something that seems to be hanging on by a thread and it doesn't fail. This did not disappoint, but I hope the creators will actually take their jobs as game developers seriously from this point on.
Fun and engaging Doom like shooter in Warhammer 40K universe. I like it a lot! Runs great, looks great, plays great!
I've really enjoyed this game. Even the last bug I found that had me pathing, successfully, out of map to destroy the fan systems. Which had me IRL throwing my hands up in, well because thats a good game if it can get that response out of me. So, on my possible final interaction with this game almost 100% at 18hrs. I think it was an excellent parting point. It ran well, looked good, and played great. I've no complaints really. I had fun and look forward to future projects involving the studio and franchise
