Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
12 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

This is and remains the best PvE Yu-gi-oh game. While it may not have the most up-to-date cards, it offers an extensive series of enemy decks - a total of over 500 story decks, reverse decks, and challenge decks - as well as sealed draft play, all with full AI support. The AI isn't perfect, as creating a computer AI to handle every situation in a complicated card game with multiple archetypes, metas, and paths to victory is exceedingly difficult. That said, what they have is an AI that knows exactly how to use every one of its 500+ decks. The multiplayer has been all but dead for a very long time, so don't expect to play this multiplayer (or to get those two multiplayer achievements, for that matter), but for single player against the computer, games where you can have fun without worrying about the current "meta" or state of the game, and one where you can try out older decks and archetypes that aren't "competitive" in the modern multiplayer, this game absolutely shines.

12 on sale3 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 3 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 12 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Summoned Exodia against Kaiba. Instantly crashed the game. 10/10 true anime experience
BEFORE YOU BUY: be aware, this game has resolution scaling issues, so, if you're playing on a display above 1080p, you'll notice the game looks nothing like the screenshots, everything is super pixelated. To fix this, you just need to set the game to windowed 1920x1080, then press and hold alt+enter to full screen. It's important to note that you can't just change the resolution to 1920x1080, then change it to full screen via the video settings because the game will just auto set to your native resolution. As for the game, if you're just looking for something single player where you can build decks and fight bots to your hearts content with all the first gen cards (and benefits of newer ones if that's your thing), this is the definitive game. Anything newer than this is online only live service slop with the most predatory mobile game monetization imaginable. Also, make sure you wait for a sale, it's only 10 USD as of my review so I wouldn't go paying the 40 MSRP.

I bought Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist: Link Evolution for one reason: I’ve been rewatching the anime, and I wanted something that lets me play the story—especially the original Duel Monsters season. It absolutely delivered that “Saturday morning duel” feeling, and then some. This is basically a huge, playable Yu-Gi-Oh! museum: tons of duels across the anime eras, a massive card pool (10,000+ cards), and the modern ruleset support that makes it feel less like a retro novelty and more like a real sandbox for deckbuilding. What I loved: Nostalgia that actually lands. Reliving iconic matchups is the main attraction, and the game leans into it hard. If you’re here to replay classic anime moments, it’s a great “rewatch companion.” Deckbuilding freedom is enormous. With over 10,000 cards, you can go from “Yugi starter vibes” to “modern Extra Deck nonsense” without switching games. Campaign = comfy. Challenges = pain (in a good way). The story/campaign duels aren’t always super punishing (especially if you bring a tuned custom deck), but the Challenge duels are where the game stops being a nostalgia tour and starts demanding real lines, sequencing, and patience. Rule modernity. It supports the newer Master Rule era updates, so it’s not locked in an outdated rule bubble. What I disliked: The campaign can feel too easy if you “optimize the fun out of it.” If you roll in with a strong custom deck, many story duels become a victory lap. (Not a dealbreaker—just know what you’re buying.) Card acquisition can feel grindy/random. You’ll likely spend time farming packs/duelists to finish specific decks, and that can be more “work” than “heart of the cards.” Presentation is functional, not flashy. This isn’t a high-budget spectacle. It’s more like a very content-rich Yu-Gi-Oh! toolbox. Pros Huge content and nostalgia value (original story included) Massive card pool (10,000+) for deckbuilding Challenge content provides real difficulty Updated ruleset support Cons Campaign can be low-challenge if you use optimized decks Card collection can feel grindy Presentation/UI is more “serviceable” than “premium” Recommendation If you’re a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan—especially if you’re revisiting the anime—yes, I recommend it. It’s a nostalgia machine with enough depth to keep you busy, and the Challenge duels are there when you want the game to stop being cute and start being serious. Trust in the Heart of the Cards… and enjoy the ride.
"Legacy of the Duelist" oyununun gelişmiş versiyonu denilebilir.
This game is way, WAY better than it has any right to be, given how utterly lazy most of the presentation and structure truly is. What you're getting here is a series of pretty damn barebones visual novel-style recreations of the major story beats from the various YGO anime over the years that lead you into a huge selection of duels against decks built more or less off of the matches from those anime, as well as an equally huge selection of custom challenge decks you unlock throughout the story mode to play against later. What I appreciate most about this story mode is that it allows you to experience YGO's evolution over the years, from Duel Kingdom to VRAINS, letting you witness the game go from meh to good to great all the way to utterly baffling. The game is also quite generous with how quickly it allows you to buy new booster packs and while the card roster is of course very out of date at this point, the selection is still plain humongous - you really have a lot of leeway to experiment around with different decks and playstyles. Look, I went into this expecting a barebones, lazy duel simulator to fill some time with. What I got instead was a barebones, lazy, yet also absolutely humongous and super entertaining duel simulator. I definitely recommend the game whenever it goes on sale - out of date as it may be, it's a FAR better option than getting into the predatory microtransaction hell that is Master Duel. (I also own the Switch version, so don't let my relative lack of playtime here confuse you. I mostly bought this version for the mods. Which exist, by the way! Some of those let you play with a more up-to-date card roster, should that matter to you.)
