About
Nature is a strategy card game of survival and adaptation for 1 to 4 players.
In the lush, ever-changing world of Nature, life is a constant battle for survival. Every creature, from the smallest herbivore to the mightiest predator, must adapt or perish. Nature is a digital board game that invites you into the untamed wilderness, where each species' fate hangs in the balance. From the designer of the award-winning Evolution series, Nature is designed to be faster, better balanced, and seamlessly expandable.

Grow your population in a world where resources are limited and danger is never far away. Each game of Nature unfolds in a vibrant ecosystem where species compete to survive. Carnivores stalk their prey while herbivores scramble for every morsel of food. You must adapt your strategy to keep up with the shifting balance of the food chain.

Give your species the tools to survive by evolving powerful traits. Develop the Fast trait to outrun predators, add Nesting to boost population growth, or play a Scavenger to gain food predators leave behind. With traits that synergize, you can create unique combinations and strategies, making each creature you create truly one-of-a-kind.

Thanks to Nature's modular game system, no two games are ever the same. Mix and match different modules, each introducing new rules and thematic twists to the ecosystem. Flight features soaring creatures and new ways to find food, while Jurassic brings out colossal predators and the ability to hide in the shadows. Modules can then be combined to create new ecosystems, it's up to you to choose the world you want to explore.

Nature has been refined through years of development and thousands of playtests to offer a game that's easy to learn yet deep in strategy. New players can jump right in with clear rules and intuitive gameplay, while experienced strategists will discover layers of tactical depth and challenge. The result is a well-balanced experience that keeps everyone coming back for more.

Love this game. I might be a mega nerd, but it's rare I get to play the board game. So this scratches the itch real good. Plus the art is gorgeous. Sometimes just load it up to faf around in the campaign mode for the hell of it.
True to the board game with a solid tutorial to help you understand the aspects you may not completely understand. If you're a board game lover this is a solid pick.
Think of Nature as "Evolution 2.0". I think it's a great deal and worth buying. You get 3 free modules with the base game; so that's like $120 of physical value. If I have two gripes, it may be that it's slightly too forgiving and the games are shorter (like 4-5 rounds instead of Evolution's 6-8). You get the modules, you get single player challenges, the card interactions with the different sets are great. Not my favorite board game but strong. Great family game as well (your kids will likely want to play it if they like animals).

A good implementation of the board game, strategic but not overwhelming, plays pretty quickly too
I have been following the evolution series for a long time and even own the board game for the older game: Evolution. Nature is a really fun game, especially when you want to play something shorter. I have been playing it since release on mobile and can now play on a bigger screen too :) I am very excited for all future module releases and I can´t wait to see amazon rainforest next. Sometimes I do wish the games could be a little longer though. The original Evolution had 7-8 rounds per game and 5 rounds feels a little short sometimes.
A great digital implementation of Nature. Single player campaign offers some interesting challenges.
Enorm leuk en gevarieerd spel. Geen enkele ronde is hetzelfde. Alleen jammer dat ik niet kan synchroniseren met Steam en Google Play.
I'm a long-time fan of Evolution (both tabletop and digital) and this is a worthy successor. The gameplay has been updated and streamlined, and the digial user experience remains solid. I wish there were more people in multiplayer, though.
I'm having issues playing with 3 friends online, we have tried to complete 4 different games and each time someone gets un-synced from everyone else and is unable to start or end their turn causing us to have to quit the game. One of the main issues is the UI and everyone's cards disappear only leaving the background of the game on your screen and the only way to quit the game is to alt+F4 out and restart it. We tried playing with timed turns and also the unlimited turns and neither one let us finish a single game. I hope this issue is solved because my friends and I enjoy the game but refuse to play it if we can't finish a single game.
