I just enjoy the overall cartoony cheese vibe this game brings to you.
I like the camp of the story and the aesthetics of the game (it was very 80s cartoon), but the game play loop was really repetitive and not very challenging. The maps repeated within each story act and so did some of the dialogue (that could have been intentional though, again 80s cartoon). I beat the game on hard with a single character in ~8hrs, but would have beaten it quick if I used mouse and keyboard from the start. I feel as though I got my money's worth given the time I played the game, but at full price this would not be the game to get.
When it comes to style, you can't get much cooler than this and the game is fun enough, but with still plenty of room for improvement. While the game seems ideal for multiplayer coop, judging by some streams I saw, the game is attractive enough for single player though it is quite tough. Fortunately there is helpful gear to stay alive and potions, though scarce and very limited in usage. Some heroes are more powerful than others you have to try them all out. The presentation is incredibly good and screams 80s He-Man/Thundercats, from the very catchy intro tune to the cartoon scenes, the voice acting and the art style. Replayability is limited. I don't think I'd do more than one run because of the difficulty and the relatively basic gameplay. While it has some RPG elements, the action in first person is not like Elder Scrolls but more arcadey. It can get repetitive. The game just keeps throwing hordes of enemies with no clear countdown showing when it will end. It also reuses a lot of the backdrops in what seems to be procedural level generation. A lot of folks seem to agree on a wait for sale but honestly you cannot find a single game with this style. Just try to stick with it despite the difficulty and learn the ropes. I bought this for 4 bucks which is ridiculously cheap. I think fair value is at least 20. Would adore an Elder Scrolls version of this to sink hundreds of hours into but it would require much more budget and more success for this title which seemed very modest. Hopefully we get to see more games like this.

Fun game to play with your friends or partner some of the level modules feel a bit repetitive and could have used variety, but the overall graphical style holds up and the plot is very early morning 80s-90s Saturday cartoon. I loved it, it feels like this could have used a 2nd season, like the creators had a much larger game in mind, but were forced to finish early, which is to bad. But for the price and what's here it's excellent.
感觉像披着肉鸽外衣的卡通版暗潮,没有特别好玩也没有特别差,毕竟很便宜,还有个问题就是没人玩,要联机可能要找朋友一起玩,陌生人可能也不友好
Süchtigmacher, vorallem im Multiplayer !!!

Visually striking - it immediately hits the right vibes. However, once the gameplay starts and the visual greatness wears off, it's just a mess and quickly loses all of its steam and becomes quite jank. Still, I applaud the animation and visual aesthetic. I just wanted this to be half as fun as it looked when the action started.
