Mystic Diary - Hidden Object

I found the game a little boring to be honest. I normally enjoy hidden object and puzzle games but this game didn't keep my interest throughout the 2.5 hours it took to complete the game to 100%. It's just the same thing through 11 levels. The puzzles really aren't difficult and there are no penalties for over clicking when trying to find objects. Towards the end of the game I found myself just clicking quickly anywhere just so I could get the objects and get to the end of the game. The story is very weak. I couldn't have cared less if he he found his brother or not. There was just no excitement to the storyline. Just a number of pictures. No animation. It's not a bad game at all. The illustrations are fine and the puzzles are fine if not a bit too easy. Perhaps this would suit younger gamers who like this genre.

剧情基本等于没有，系统极度简陋，画面比较模糊 总共12关，每一关的流程都一样的：根据轮廓找物品->解决一个简单的谜题->根据单词找物品->下一关 有时会遇到BUG，东西都找齐了却无法进行下一步操作，游戏中又没有重新开始当前关的选项，只能到 %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\SunRayGames\Mystic Diary - Hidden Object 下面去手动修改/删除关卡存档。 语言有机翻的简中，翻译错误不算多。 5/10

The story of your lost brother unfolds as chapters in a book are read. Generally, each chapter consists of 2 shape-based hidden object scenes, assemble and use a few objects, then a puzzle, then a word based hidden object search that reveals a magic symbol upon completion. This sequence is repeated 12 times. Other reviewers noted that if you're experienced at HOG's, this game probably won't be much of a challenge to you - and I do agree with that assessment. However if you (like me) are new to HOG's and trying to determine if they are a type of game you want to play, this is an excellent "starter HOG" for beginners to try out. I had not done a shape based HOG before, and I found it a nice change of pace from the word based HOG I had previously played. I did not like petri dish puzzle, but the rest of the puzzles were good - they made your brain think a bit but it wasn't too much of a challenge - mostly relaxing fun. and of course, who could forget ... Bloodthirsty Penguins FTW!! LOL I got this game as part of a bundle, and for less then $1 I feel it was a good value and I was entertained. If I had a friend I wanted to introduce to HOGs, I feel this would be a good game to gift if it was available at a similar discount. I do feel the current price ($6.99 USD at the time of this review) is too high for what you are getting. Since there's no "meh" rating, I'm giving it a positive but *only* if it's available to purchase at a discount. MAC NOTE: No system requirements are given regarding the Mac OS version required, but I found that it did not run on 10.6.8 Snow Leopard but did run on 10.11 El Capitan

Игра интересная, но есть одно неприятное но. Игру посоветовала девушка, купил, начал играть. На уровне "Пещера" игра предлагает купить полную версию, при нажатии на кнопку "Полная версия" игра пытается что-то прогрузить (крутится круг) и ничего не происходит. Gentoo Linux x64. Видимо в следующий раз вместо покупки буду пиратить. P.S. Какого рожна книга листается с конца?

[h1] Genre [/h1] Ein Hidden Object Adventure [h1] Story [/h1] Wir spielen einen Mann der seinen Vermissten Bruder sucht. Wir haben versucht ihn zu kontaktieren aber er antwortet einfach nicht. Als wir dann zu seinem Haus gehen ist er nicht dort und es stellt sich heraus das er ein Mysteriöses Tagebuch gefunden hat mit dem man sich an verschiedene Orte teleportieren kann. Wir machen uns nun auf, in der Hoffnung ihn irgendwo wieder zu finden [h1] Gameplay [/h1] Das Spiel ist in 12 Level aufgeteilt. In jedem Level müssen wir zunächst meist 2 Wimmelbildszenen lösen wobei die zu findenden Gegenstände in Silhouetten angezeigt werden. Danach müssen wir dann im Level verschiedene Gegenstände finden und eventuell im Inventar miteinander kombinieren um den dann erhaltenen Gegenstand zu nutzen um ein Rätsel/Minispiel zu lösen. Danach gibt es dann eine Standard Wimmelbildszene und dann muss man mit Hilfe einer Lupe ein Magisches Zeichen aufdecken. Diesen Vorgang wiederhohlt man 12 mal. Die Story wird zwischendurch via Tagebuch Einträge erzählt. Das Spiel ist relativ kurz und simpel gehalten. Musik ist OK und Voice Acting gibt es nicht [h1] Achievements [/h1] Es gibt insgesamt 15 Erfolge. 14 sind Story basierend und somit nicht verpassbar und für das letzte muss man eines der 12 Rätsel/Minispiele unter 1 Minute lösen [h1] Pro/Contra [/h1] + Nette Rätsel/Minispiele + Achievements + Sammelkarten [h1] Fazit [/h1] Ein Wimmelbild Abenteuer was eher auf der schwächeren Seite steht. Es gibt keine direkte Story wie man es gewohnt ist sondern man spielt hier halt Level für Level. Es wird nach kurzer Zeit relativ Eintönig weil man im Prinzip immer das selbe macht. Wer gerne Hidden Object Adventures spielt kann dennoch zugreifen. fast pace, old and short HOG that is not worth the efforts. pros. fast paced cons. almost no story. short . a bit more than 1 hour for the main story no bonus story just do and repeat. all of the game concept which i kinda liked is just all the same over and over. it gets boring even with the 1 hour game play time. way too easy i do not recommend this one. just no. boring short and very easy. 1/10 +1 for the cards 2/10
