similar to other hidden object games, including from this dev, but also includes puzzle versions of the same pictures which adds extra playability. however i still competed everything in less than 30 mins
I got this game as a gift from a friend of mine, thank you so much for it! In the game you need to find some cats and puzzle pieces on a big picture and do jigsaw puzzles, all of this through out 4 levels. If you have played other hidden object and jigsaw games then you already what to expect. There are multiple songs, help if you get stuck and some features for speedruns. However the game is pretty short, you can get through all levels in half hour, maximum in a hour. If you like these kind of games and you can get this game for 0.5 - 1€ at most, then I can recommend giving it a ♥♥♥♥. It's pretty good for some relaxing few minutes to play.
#1459
Cats Around Us: Giant Cat
Gierka hidden object w której szukamy ukryte koty w komiksie, którym głównym bohaterem jest gigantyczny kot. Dodatkowo mamy do odblokowania mini gierkę z układaniem ilustracji z rozsypanych puzzli, miły dodatek do gry.
Cats Around Us: Giant Cat, developed and published by Noobzilla, is a soothing and delightfully whimsical hidden-object experience that captures the simple pleasure of observation. It takes a minimalist approach to gaming, trading action and complexity for the calm satisfaction of discovery. The premise is both amusing and imaginative: a gigantic cat has descended upon a small, hand-drawn village, and among the chaos are over two hundred smaller cats scattered throughout the environment, waiting to be found. The game transforms this quiet premise into an experience that feels more like meditative art than traditional gameplay. Every click becomes an act of curiosity, and every discovery a small reward for patient observation. At its core, Cats Around Us: Giant Cat is about exploration and attention to detail. Each of the four large illustrated pages functions as a self-contained scene, inviting players to zoom in, scan, and uncover cleverly hidden felines tucked into rooftops, windows, alleyways, and foliage. The game blends the satisfaction of puzzle-solving with the relaxed pace of a visual storybook. It never rushes the player; there are no timers, penalties, or fail states, just a peaceful flow of interaction. The jigsaw puzzles integrated between stages add another layer of variety, encouraging a shift in focus while maintaining the same spirit of quiet engagement. These interludes complement the hidden-object sequences nicely, keeping the experience from feeling monotonous. Each puzzle solved unlocks new areas to explore, creating a gentle rhythm of progression that feels natural and rewarding. Visually, the game’s strength lies in its art direction. The hand-drawn illustrations by Kathrinna Rakhmavika are brimming with warmth and detail, filled with cozy textures and charming scenes that radiate personality. The village is alive with small visual stories—a cat lounging by a window, villagers reacting to the enormous feline, tiny kittens peeking from barrels—and each discovery adds a layer of personality to the world. The palette is soft and inviting, with carefully balanced colors that enhance the sense of tranquility. Every screen feels crafted with care, and the composition of each panel draws the player’s eye naturally from one corner to another, ensuring that exploration remains intuitive rather than frustrating. The presentation is minimalist, yet full of charm, allowing the player’s focus to remain on the act of finding rather than being distracted by excessive interface clutter. The game’s audio design supports this visual serenity beautifully. Soft ambient sounds and gentle background melodies create a peaceful atmosphere that enhances immersion without ever becoming intrusive. It’s the kind of soundscape that fades into the background, allowing the player to relax fully while still maintaining focus. The interface is equally considerate: adjustable brightness, cursor color options, and a photo mode make the game accessible and customizable for a wide range of players. It’s clear that Noobzilla approached the project with accessibility and user comfort in mind, understanding that the appeal of hidden-object games often lies in their calming, inclusive design rather than their difficulty. While Cats Around Us: Giant Cat excels as a cozy visual experience, its simplicity also defines its limitations. With only four pages to explore, the game can be completed in a few hours, and players looking for complex puzzles or narrative depth may find it lacking in variety. The core loop—find cats, solve a jigsaw, move on—remains consistent throughout, and while that consistency reinforces its meditative quality, it also limits replayability. The absence of a larger story or progression system means that once all the cats are found and the puzzles are completed, there’s little reason to return aside from the pleasure of the artwork itself. Still, within its short runtime, it delivers exactly what it promises: a tranquil, self-contained experience that encourages mindfulness and curiosity. Despite its brevity, the game’s charm lies in its purity of purpose. It’s not trying to be more than it is; instead, it embraces its small scope with confidence, focusing entirely on the joy of discovery. In an industry often dominated by high-stakes narratives and complex mechanics, Cats Around Us: Giant Cat feels like a breath of fresh air—a reminder that games can be relaxing, quiet, and artistic without losing their appeal. The act of finding each cat feels almost therapeutic, and the occasional humor hidden in the illustrations ensures that players stay engaged through lighthearted surprise. It’s a game that invites you to slow down, to appreciate the details, and to find delight in the little things. Ultimately, Cats Around Us: Giant Cat succeeds as a heartfelt and gently humorous experience that celebrates simplicity. It’s not a game about winning or achieving mastery; it’s about taking a moment to enjoy observation itself. The combination of beautiful art, pleasant sound, and relaxing gameplay creates a meditative space that feels timeless, like flipping through a picture book come to life. It’s perfect for players seeking a short, comforting escape—a way to unwind, smile, and lose themselves in a world filled with cats of all shapes and sizes. Noobzilla’s creation may be small in scope, but its warmth and charm make it a memorable entry in the hidden-object genre, one that leaves players with a sense of calm satisfaction long after the last cat has been found. Rating: 8/10
