I think this could have been a bit of casual fun but it's wayyyyyy to short and some things like an actual way to exit the game would have been nice. I couldn't find that except if I brought up my steam game window and exit from there. Also maybe a travel map but that wasn't vital. It was just so short so kind of a nothing burger. This one goes in my not worth playing again folder. If you get it for free or it's thrown in some bundle you wanted then play it and it will be a quick play through ( my 2hrs is not based on a straight play through). I know developers need to make some money from these games but honestly I don't think it's worth the 2.99 usd current price for something so brief and uneventful. I think I got this one for free or it was in a bundle or maybe I got it when it was under a dollar, I truly can't remember.

I seen some bad reviews on this game and I don't think the're fair. I loved this game and I did find some of the puzzles challenging and easy. So it kept me interested. For 89 cents it was worth every penny. Looking for more games like this

People say this is easy but I ended up looking at a guide because I got bored/stuck on one of the puzzles. Turned out I was clicking on the right thing but the game was so unresponsive/buggy that it wasn't registering the clicks. I enjoy polished point and click adventures but this was so boring that once I'd turned to the guide I ended up just mindlessly following it (and having the same issue on other 'puzzles'), and now I'm idling for cards. Not sure how I ended up with this shovelware but I don't recommend it.

This is a 30 minute adventure game with basically no content. No HOPs, the "story" is a handful of slides and the "puzzles" are a joke. Also, as someone else noted, this is an asset flip: https://www.sellmyapp.com/downloads/the-mystery-of-the-orphanage/

The story wasn't all that imaginative or exciting, nor that necessary really, but aside from that, there are only two issues I have with this game and that keep me from recommending it unless you get it vastly on sale, which I did, and also happen to need a light puzzle-solver while you do something else, like eat dinner so your hands are too busy for other games. One of these issues is minor, but would save a lot of time - of course that means you could play the game even faster than I did - three times in 42 minutes, while eating, and three times just to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I wasn't. The minor issue is that simply clicking forward and backward to go from scene to scene got really old, really fast. Visiting the same location over and over again, from this scene or that scene, was very tedious. A simple clickable map would save a lot of that frustration and needless game time. The second issue is pretty big. Just because you know how to solve puzzles, doesn't mean you should assume it's okay to go ahead and do so in this game! You might, as I did on my first go 'round, inadvertently solve the entire mystery on the first real puzzle in the game and miss out on all the other puzzles and what little story there actually is. Wait until you receive a proper clue to complete each puzzle, following the story. Spoiler, and no, sorry, I don't know how to format properly so it won't be a bad one: don't solve the first color puzzle in the first kids' room until very late in the game when you are given a clue that you will be able to see is very specific to that room. Otherwise, decent way to spend my time while eating dinner and needing something to fill my mind and non-pizza hand with activity.
