Mystery Case Files: The Last Resort Collector's Edition

Not quite sure what happened here . This is not up to the usual MCF standard. Although some of the games were interesting, it was lacklustre and although I finished it (only to get the achievements) I was bored for a lot of the time.

Though it's shorter than some of the other titles in the series, the game is surprisingly enjoyable. The story is standard fair for the series, the logic puzzles are pleasantly distinct, and the hidden object scenes are decently common and varied in their presentation. Can't say I believe in saving assorted royalty from their poor life decisions, but overall I'd give the game a 8/10

Game suffers from an unfixed crash to desktop bug approximately two to three hours into game.

Not my favorite MCF. Very uneven game play; puzzles either way to easy or amazingly hard. Something in the series died after Fates Carnival, Dire Grove, and 13 Skulls. Those I will play over and over. It was fun enough for an afternoon but just not the same imaginative puzzles as I got used to and really miss.

They've fixed the major bugs. The bonus chapter is available now and the game no longer crashes when you flip the power on. So: If you like the Mystery Case Files games, this is one of them.

Short but sweet, story is mid though. At least we have a new MCF Game! Hoping for more!
